Zmap — One seamless world map for WoW Forever
Every zone stitched into a single map you can zoom from the whole world down to the ground under your feet. Zmap replaces the game map (M) with one continuous map and puts everything you look for on it: flight routes and times, dungeons with their bosses, quests to pick up and their objectives, vendors and trainers by what they sell, herbs and ore for your profession, your group and your guild.
🌍 English and Spanish — it follows your game language.
✨ Features
🗺️ One map, no more zone switching
Seamless zoom: world → continent → every zone stitched together → the minimap's real terrain up close → each capital's own city map. Drawn with the game's own textures.
Unexplored areas: shown, dimmed or hidden.
Zone names and level ranges, coloured against your level.
Dungeon and raid maps, floor by floor, with every boss in order — the map opens on it inside an instance, or click a dungeon entrance on the world map. Right-click to go back.
📍 Getting around
Pins (Ctrl+click or right-click): name, note and colour. Share them with your group, your guild or as a chat link. /zway x y name (and /way if you do not use TomTom).
On-screen arrow to your destination, with distance and time left — and to your corpse when you die.
Flight masters of your faction: hover one to see the route and time from the nearest, click to pick another start. A flight timer learns the real duration of every flight.
Boats and zeppelins with their routes.
Minimap pins: the destination (on the edge when it is far), your pins, quests and nearby herbs and ore.
❗ Quests, Questie-style
Exclamation marks where the quests you can take are — filtered by your level, race, class and the quests you have already done. Low-level quests optional.
For the quests in your log: their objectives (one colour per quest) and, once complete, who to turn them in to.
👥 People and places
Townsfolk of your faction, each with the icon of what they sell or teach: innkeepers, bankers, auctioneers, class and profession trainers, weapons, armour, food and drink, profession supplies, reagents, general goods, mailboxes, anvils and forges, meeting stones… turn each type on or off.
Rare mobs from the data.
NPC search: ~8,400 NPCs by name, title or service ("innkeeper"), nearest first. The map flies there and marks every spot where they stand. Names are learned in your game language.
Your group on the map in class colours. Your guild: exact positions for guildmates who use Zmap, their zone for the rest.
🌿 Gathering
~25,000 herb and ore nodes for your Herbalism and Mining, greyed when they are above your skill — only if you have the profession.
The nodes you gather are remembered and shared with your guild's Zmap users.
⚙️ Made to stay out of the way
Layers panel down the map's side: one click per layer, grouped; folds away to a tab.
Search box for zones, subzones, flight masters, dungeons, NPCs, pins and herbs — accents don't matter.
Window or fullscreen, resizable, fades while you move. Blizzard's map is one click away.
⌨️ Controls
Wheel: zoom at the cursor · Drag: move · Double-click: zoom in · Right-click: menu · Ctrl+click: pin · Shift+click: link the spot in chat · Esc: close
Commands: /zmap (open/close) · /zmap options · /zmap pins · /zmap search <text> · /zmap clearnodes · /zmap reset · /zmap diag
🔒 Sharing
Your position is shared only with guildmates who use Zmap (on by default, turn it off in the options), never inside instances or in combat. Herbs, ore and townsfolk you find are shared the same way.
