CHANGELOG v.1.4.6 (The Ultimate Chat Hotfix)

Fixed

  • Taint & HistoryKeeper Crashes: Completely rewrote the chat routing to bypass Blizzard's Event Filters. This permanently resolves all remaining Action Blocked or forbidden table crashes when interacting with cross-realm players, communities, or NPCs in instances.
  • Highlight & URL Formatting: Fixed a bug where chat highlights or URLs would accidentally format hidden Blizzard system code (like player or item links), breaking the chat output.
  • Color Bleed Protection: Fixed an issue where linking an item or achievement in a custom-colored channel would prematurely end the channel's color and turn the rest of the text gray.
  • Self-Highlighting: The addon no longer triggers highlight colors or sounds for your own sent messages.
