What's new
What changed in 1.2.0
Every player in the lobby now carries their live rating, on both tabs, from the moment you zone in. The enemy tab in particular used to be four dots per stranger until the match ended — which is exactly when nobody opens it.
The NOW column
A new column beside every name, on My team and Enemies alike, showing what the scoreboard says that player is rated right now.
- It is there at the gates, before the doors open, for all sixteen players in a Blitz — not after the final score.
- The client marks these values secret: an addon may show them but may not read them. So the column is deliberately uncoloured and unsorted, because choosing a colour or a sort order would mean reading the number. Everything else on the panel still sorts as it did.
- A player with no rating reads
—, never0.
Blitz and Rated BG teammates past the fourth
They were permanently blank: no titles, no role icon, nothing, however long the match ran. The addon was only ever looking at party1 through party4 — but a Blitz team is eight and an RBG team is ten, and both of those are raids. Everyone from the fifth teammate on was invisible to it.
- This is also why two people in the same Blitz could see different boards: each client had found a different subset of the team.
- Raid tokens are now used everywhere party tokens were, both when the teams are split and when titles are read.
Titles that never loaded
- A rated match could stall every title read. The check that matches an inspect result to the player it was asked about compared two values the client now hands out as secrets, which threw — and the throw left the queue blocked behind a player who would never resolve. One bad read could stop the rest of the lobby loading.
- A player called "Unknown" no longer appears. The scoreboard returns that as a name while a row is still filling in, and it was being taken for a real person: it got a row, a title read and a permanent entry in your history. A six-player Solo Shuffle could show seven.
Reports you can actually read
/wpr diagopens a window with selectable text instead of filling the chat frame. Click it, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C. The window resizes and remembers the size, and the report is also written to SavedVariables at the next/reload.- The report says which unit token found each player and why they were placed on the side they were, which is what makes a bug report answerable.
/wpr enemyreports exactly which scoreboard fields this client hands over and which it withholds.
