The World Enhancer is the latest gnomish technology to allow roleplayers to modify their environment via a simple method.
By storing points on the map and calculating the player's distance from them at any given time, then displaying the appropriate text - simple changes to the environment can be (in a sense) achieved. Those points are then in turn shared with your friends over a community channel.
In other words, the environment will emote as you enter certain areas on the map.
World Enhancer sticks to principles of usability and not hiding from the user.
