World Color Code tints treasure icons on your minimap, so you can tell one kind from another while you are out in the zone. You pick the color. Each zone has its own list, and each treasure on that list can have its own. The names that come with the addon are treasures you can loot again. A chest that only shows up once is not on those lists.
The window
Open it with /wcc or /worldcolor. Zones are grouped by expansion, with Midnight first, then The War Within, Dragonflight, and Shadowlands. The zone you are standing in is marked. A zone that does not have any names yet is still on the list, so you can add one. The zone list and the treasure list each scroll when they get long.
Click the color next to a treasure and pick a new one. Right-click that color to put the original back. The color beside the zone name changes every treasure in that zone at once, and you can still change a single treasure after that. Hide takes a treasure off the minimap tint, and Show puts that tint back. Remove deletes a treasure you added. A name that came with the addon stays.
You can add a treasure in two ways. Type the minimap name and click Add, or click Nearby to see the icons currently on your minimap and add one of those without typing it. Show all includes rares and other icons that are not treasures, which helps when the name you want is not a chest. It defaults to on. The switch is labeled Minimap colors and sits at the bottom of the window. Turning it off takes the tints away until you turn it back on.
Starting colors
Each kind starts with its own color, and you can change any of them. On Undermine, Magic-Bound Chest starts teal, Shiny Trash Can starts cyan, and Overflowing Dumpster starts yellow. The other older Undermine names start pink. Undermine also includes that older set, along with the treasures you can loot again. On the Coiled Isle, Cracked Canopic Jar and Venom-Clotted Bauble start as different colors. Where a chest has a richer version, that version starts as the same color as the normal one.
Names
The names that come with the addon are the English minimap names. If your client is in another language, those names will not match the icons you see, so add the ones you care about from Nearby. A treasure you add that way uses the name your client shows, and that one still matches. A cave uses the list for the zone above it when that cave does not have a list of its own. The tint only shows while that treasure is on your minimap.
Based on
This addon is based on two WeakAuras. Treasure Icons Recolor by Hasicz is where the minimap recolor comes from. Undermine - Minimap Treasure Icons Color by Tbzz is the Undermine list, including the older names and their starting colors.
