World Buff Watch v1.9.45
What's new
MissionAccomplished 1.9.45
Automatic elite sightings on mouseover for WoW Classic Era 1.15.9 (Interface 11509). Update Core, Suite and your installed modules together; all thirteen packages share this release version.
Noctis Guides
- Moving the pointer over a living, attackable elite, rare elite or world boss
automatically shows its threat warning through the native
UPDATE_MOUSEOVER_UNITevent. No click or target change is needed. Creatures outside the 19-NPC curated catalogue use their native in-game name and current zone in the existing warning banner. - A currently hovered confirmed threat takes display priority over the target and visible nameplates. The native Creature or Vehicle identity, attackability and living-state checks remain mandatory. Friendly and dead units, players, pets and unlisted ordinary rares do not create elite warnings.
- Existing named threats retain their curated details and individual portraits. The six-second lost-sighting caution, warning opt-outs, read-only quest progress and temporary spacing around the quest HUD are retained.
- Solo players retain the faded red screen edges for confirmed threats. Actual party or raid members retain two gentle banner-border pulses over two seconds, then a steady banner with clear screen edges. Repeated refreshes of the same sighting do not restart the brief grouped cue. Flash opt-out retains the existing steady presentation.
- Party recommended remains a steady gold badge beneath the quest objective, with a player count when the guide supplies one.
Companion packages
The other twelve packages are version-aligned companions with no runtime changes from 1.9.44. Installer dependencies and permanent update-catalogue identities are preserved. Frozen 1.9.42, 1.9.43 and 1.9.44 archives and upload records are retained.
Verification
Evidence belongs in reports/elite-hover-sighting-20261004. Automated
controller and read-only integration checks cover native classification,
hover priority, rejection of ineligible units, opt-outs and sighting lifecycle.
Their results are recorded in that report independently of in-game evidence.
Native reload and a real elite mouseover check are pending at the user's
request while they continue playing. No native hover encounter is claimed
for this release; automated observations are recorded separately.
