Everyone you know who's online, in one panel. For World of Warcraft: Forever and Retail.
Hover the WinterSocial icon on your minimap or your broker bar, such as Titan Panel, and a panel opens with your online Battle.net friends, character friends, guild and communities. Click a name to whisper, right-click for the game's own menu plus Invite, Who and Add as friend. Click the icon to pin the panel open while you work through the list.
One addon for both Forever and Retail, with no Ace3 and nothing to configure before it's useful. Every option is in both the options panel and /ws.
Features
One panel, sized to fit
Each column is exactly as wide as its widest entry, so names, ranks and locations sit together with no empty gap. Text size and background opacity are adjustable, and the list scrolls once it gets long.
Tabs and search
All, Friends, Guild and Communities, each with its online count. Search by name, location, rank or note.
Battle.net friends
Account name and character side by side. Friends playing a different version of WoW show which one ("Retail", "Forever"), so you can tell at a glance who you can invite. Favourites come first. Friends in other Blizzard games are shown; friends only in the Battle.net app are hidden unless you turn them on.
Guild
Online members with rank, level, location and public note. Sort by rank, name, level, location or class. Officer notes show if your rank can see them and you turn them on.
Communities
Online members of each of your communities, under a header per community. Your guild has its own section, so it isn't listed twice.
Clicks
- Left-click a name: whisper.
- Right-click: the game's own menu for that person, with everything it offers, plus Invite to group, Who and Add as friend.
- Row icons: whisper, and invite when that person can be invited.
Broker label
Online counts for friends and guild, for example Friends 4 Guild 5, in Battle.net blue and guild green, on Titan Panel or any broker display. Communities are in the panel when you hover.
Light on resources
Counts come straight from the game, and lists are only rebuilt when something actually changed, so leaving it on costs next to nothing.
Settings
Everything is in Esc → Options → AddOns → WinterSocial, and every option there is also a /ws command.

Requirements
- World of Warcraft: Forever (1.60.1) or Retail (12.1)
- No dependencies. LibDataBroker and LibDBIcon are included.
Installing
Use your addon manager, or unzip into your game's Interface\AddOns\ folder so that you have AddOns\WinterSocial\WinterSocial.toc.
Reporting a problem
If something looks wrong, run /ws probe out of combat and include the report. It shows which game functions your client has and what each list found.
