Where's My Buff
Lightweight missing raid and party buff tracker. Shows buff icons based on group classes and lets you click to whisper buff providers with customizable messages.

Description
Where’s My Buff is a lightweight addon that helps your party or raid stay buffed without cluttering your screen.
It checks which classes are in your group and displays an icon whenever at least one group member is missing a buff those classes provide. No player lists or counters—just the buffs that need attention.
Features
- Class-aware tracking: Only checks buffs provided by classes in your group.
- Simple icon display: One missing player is enough to show the buff’s icon.
- Click-to-whisper: Click a missing buff to request it from matching online, living class members, excluding yourself.
- Custom messages: Write your own whisper using
{buff}to insert the buff’s name. - Movable window: Adjust its position, scale, and lock setting.
- Group or personal mode: Check the whole group or only your own buffs.
- Lightweight: No external libraries required.

Getting started
The window appears when you join a party or raid. Hover over an icon to see the buff’s name, or click it to whisper its providers.
Open /wmb options, or right-click the window’s background, to customize your message.
Example:
“Could you please cast {buff}? Thanks!”

Midnight compatibility
Designed for Midnight’s aura restrictions. Unreadable buff data is treated as unknown rather than incorrectly reported as missing. Offline or non-visible members cannot be fully checked; dead and ghost members are skipped.
Whispers are sent only when you click, with a 10-second repeat limit per buff. WoW’s chat restrictions may temporarily prevent sending.
