Description

WhatsCrafting

Your profession trainer, recipe book, and leveling guide — all in one Blizzard-styled window.

Inspired by the classic What's Training companion for class trainers, WhatsCrafting brings that same "what's next" clarity to your professions. No more juggling wiki tabs and spreadsheets — open one window and see exactly where you stand and what to do next.

Features

Training — See your current profession rank, trainer locations, and a preview of upcoming trainer-taught recipes before you even ride out to learn them.

Patterns / Recipes / Locations — Full acquisition info for every recipe: vendors, quests, drops, gathering targets, locations, costs, and reagents — with color-coded status (learned, available, needs higher skill, upcoming).

Specialization / Essentials — Breakdown of specialization quests, key unlocks, and profession-specific mechanics so you don't miss a crucial branch.

Leveling Guide — A complete 1–300 leveling route for every supported profession, with your current step highlighted and a standalone tracker that shows exact materials needed for each step, what you already have on hand, and your next craft. The tracker docks beside the main window, stays visible after you close it, and can minimize down to a compact current-step view.

Character & faction aware — Detects each character's known professions, skill levels, class, and faction, so Alliance and Horde players get correct trainer and route info. Recipe progress is cached per character.

Quiet trainer scanning — Visiting a trainer silently scans prices and newly learned recipes into your cache — no popup interrupting your trainer visit.
