What's Crafting?

WhatsCrafting is the profession companion to the classic "What's Training" addon. Where that addon tells you which class abilities you'll learn at your next level, WhatsCrafting does the same thing for your professions — so you always know your next trainer rank, what recipes are coming, and where to go to get them.

What it shows you, per profession:

• Training — your current rank, skill cap, and exactly when you'll be eligible for the next tier (Apprentice → Journeyman → Expert → Artisan), with the correct trainer name and location for your faction.
• Patterns/Recipes — a full searchable catalog of recipes, filterable by status (learned / can learn / needs higher skill) and by source (trainer, vendor, drop, quest). Hover any entry for reagents, exact vendor cost, zone, and coordinates — pulled from a merged Classic Era dataset and cross-referenced live with Questie if you have it installed.
• Specialization — Leatherworking's Dragonscale/Tribal/Elemental, Engineering's Gnomish/Goblin, and equivalent "essentials" references for professions without a formal specialization split.
• Leveling Guide — a full 1-300 route with shopping lists, step-by-step crafts, and faction-specific trainer/vendor notes for every profession that has one.

Covers all of Classic Era:
Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking, Tailoring, Cooking, First Aid — plus Mining, Herbalism, Skinning, Fishing (gathering skills get location/skill-band references instead of a recipe list), and Lockpicking for Rogues.

Built for alts: every character's known recipes and profession choice are cached separately, so switching characters never mixes up your data.

Usage: /whatscrafting or /wc to open the window, or click the minimap button. Works standalone; Questie is optional and only adds live source/location lookups when installed.
