Description

Waypoint Enhancer improves the visibility, readability, and style of Blizzard’s native World of Warcraft waypoint tracker without replacing the default navigation system.

Make your WoW waypoints easier to see on busy backgrounds, high-resolution displays, and custom UI setups. Choose a ready-to-use preset or fully customize the waypoint icon, distance text, glow, background, scale, opacity, and off-screen arrow.

Waypoint Enhancer is lightweight, simple to configure, and uses Blizzard’s native Settings panel. It also includes compatibility detection and a limited Safe Mode for better support alongside other waypoint addons.

Open the settings with /we or /waypointenhancer.

Why Use Waypoint Enhancer?

Blizzard’s default waypoint tracker can sometimes be hard to notice, especially in combat, crowded zones, bright environments, or on larger screens.

Waypoint Enhancer keeps the familiar Blizzard waypoint system while giving you more control over how it looks and behaves. Use a preset for quick setup, or fine-tune each visual element to match your UI.

It is designed for players who want a clearer, cleaner, and more customizable waypoint tracker without changing how Blizzard’s navigation works.

Compatibility

Waypoint Enhancer is designed for World of Warcraft Retail 12.0.7.

The addon only styles Blizzard’s native waypoint tracker. It does not replace waypoint routing, create a new navigation system, or modify how waypoints are generated.

Waypoint Enhancer can be used alongside addons such as TomTom, but it only affects waypoints displayed through Blizzard’s native tracker. Addons that restyle or replace the same Blizzard waypoint frame may cause visual conflicts.

Safe Mode is available to reduce styling and improve compatibility with other waypoint-related addons.

Can I restore the original Blizzard look?

Safe Mode limits styling to basic options such as scale, icon size, text size, and text outline. This helps reduce conflicts with other waypoint addons.

Does Waypoint Enhancer use external libraries?
