Waylaid Auction Helper

The cheapest way to earn Merchant's Favor in WoW: Forever.

Scans the auction house for Waylaid Crates and the bundles that fill them, then tells you which crates to buy, which bundle to fill each one with and how many of each, for the lowest total gold. In English, 简体中文 and 繁體中文.

New in 0.4.0

• Tracker: after a scan, a small panel follows you out of the auction house, showing what is still to buy, what waits in the mail, the crates ready to fill and the Sealed Crates to turn in
• Fill button on the tracker: one click fills the next crate with a bundle from your bags
• Your purchases count right away: the plan ticks off what you have, green in your bags and gold in the mail
• Minimap button: click for the tracker, right-click for the window

Following the plan

• The tracker goes from buy to collect your mail to fill the crates to turn in, and says "Goal reached" when you're done
• Close it with its X until you next leave the auction house, or turn it off with the Tracker checkbox

The cheapest plan

• Every mix of crates and bundles compared. A green crafting crate pays double favor, but its bundle may cost more than two white crates' worth
• Real prices: the 21st Copper Bar can cost more than the 20th, so each unit is charged at its listing price, and each line shows the most you'll pay per unit
• Your favor, the Sealed Crates in your bags, and the crates and materials you carry count first (Use bag items)
• Crates above your level are left out (Only my level)
• A bar shows your favor toward the goal: what you have, what your Sealed Crates add, and what the plan adds

Every crate on its own

• Every crate type ranked by cost per favor, with its cheapest bundle
• Includes crates nobody is selling right now

Learns payouts

Expert and Artisan crate values aren't known yet, so they start as estimates, marked ~. When you turn in a Sealed Crate, the addon records the favor you actually got, including any favor bonus you have.

Languages

The addon follows your game's language: English, or 简体中文 / 繁體中文 on a Chinese client, with the game's own item names.

Getting started

1. Open the auction house. The window opens beside it, or type /wh to open it anywhere else.
2. Set your Goal: how much Merchant's Favor you want to have (default 30).
3. Press Scan. A scan takes a few seconds.
4. Click each Buy line and buy what the plan lists.
5. Leave the auction house and follow the tracker: collect your mail, press Fill for each crate, and turn in the Sealed Crates.

Beta

WoW: Forever is in beta, and so is this addon. Some beta builds don't load saved settings at the next login; if your goal and settings reset, that's the game, not the addon. Please report problems in the comments.

Crate and bundle data from Wowhead's WoW: Forever database, with Traditional Chinese names from the game client.
