Wayfarer Ledger

Wayfarer Ledger is a privacy-first social memory notebook for World of Warcraft: Forever.

Forever’s large, realmless world and shard-based population can make it difficult to remember the players you have adventured with—or recognize someone you met days earlier. Wayfarer Ledger helps preserve those social connections without creating public ratings, crowdsourced blacklists, or automated reputation scores.

Planned features

• Keep private notes about players and guilds you encounter
• Record recent party members and group history
• Mark encounters as positive, neutral, or cautionary
• Add searchable tags such as great tank, helpful crafter, roleplayer, reliable healer, or avoid grouping
• See when and where you last encountered someone
• Receive a subtle “met before” reminder when appropriate
• Search and filter your personal ledger
• Maintain user-controlled guild-name mute patterns
• Export, import, delete, or permanently forget stored entries
• Configure behavior through the in-game AddOns options menu
• Use a native WoW Forever-inspired interface

Privacy and safety

All notes remain local in your own SavedVariables by default. Wayfarer Ledger does not:

• Publish player ratings
• Upload notes to an external service
• Share accusations
• Create public blacklists
• Automate targeting or harassment
• Collect real-world personal information

The ledger belongs to the player who created it and can be cleared at any time.
