Forever Dungeon Journal
Forever Dungeon Journal is a spoiler-light dungeon atlas and personal exploration journal built for World of Warcraft: Forever. Classic-style dungeons are large, dangerous, and easy to get lost in. The Journal is designed to help players learn them without automatically revealing every secret or turning exploration into a waypoint-following exercise.
Planned features
- Browse available Forever dungeons through a native in-game journal
- Support authored dungeon floor plans and modular verified data packs
- Track entrances, bosses, dungeon quests, shortcuts, landmarks, and dangerous pulls
- Hide undiscovered information by default with optional discovery mode
- Manually reveal locations or add personal annotations
- Record personal first discoveries and dungeon memories
- Maintain separate character and account-wide progress
- Search and filter dungeons, markers, quests, and notes
- Offer configurable spoiler levels
- Integrate with compatible map and quest addons instead of replacing them
- Use a native WoW Forever-inspired interface
Data accuracy
Dungeon maps and marker data are authored and verified rather than fabricated from incomplete beta information.
Unconfirmed entries are clearly labeled, and data is versioned as WoW Forever develops. The addon framework can function before every dungeon data pack is complete.
Design philosophy
Forever Dungeon Journal helps players understand and remember dungeons while preserving the sense of exploration that makes Classic-style content memorable.
It does not automate routes, movement, targeting, combat, or protected actions.
