What's new

Added

  • Healthstone at low health: with a Healthstone in your bags, the icon shows with its own highlight (green by default) when your health drops below a threshold (20% by default), also in combat, and a click uses the strongest Healthstone you have. No reminder while the Healthstone is on cooldown. The threshold, color and sound are in the Healthstone settings; the reminder can be turned off there.
  • Soul Shard counter: extra shards. New Maximum shards option (0 by default, no limit): above it the count turns light blue, and Shift + click on the counter deletes the shards above the maximum, from ordinary bags first so a Soul Pouch keeps its own. Not in combat.
  • Soul Shard counter: full bags. The counter lights up orange when a new shard has no free slot in your bags (Drain Soul would lose it). On by default; the color and an optional sound are in the settings.
  • Summon queue: group members who ask for a summon in party, raid or instance chat or in a whisper ("123", "summ", "summon"...; the keywords are editable, whole words only) join a queue window in the order they asked, with their class color, zone (in a raid) and wait time. The header shows your Soul Shards and how many group members stand next to you to click the portal. Click a player to target them and cast Ritual of Summoning, right click to remove them. Players leave the queue once they're next to you, leave the group or wait longer than the timeout (10 minutes by default). Optional sound when someone joins. In Mists and Retail, where one ritual leaves a portal for 5 minutes, a click only targets the player while your portal stands (the header shows how long it has left), and Shift + click casts a new ritual.
  • Selling summons (/wu sell or the settings; off by default): a second window lists players outside the group who look for a summon in public channels, /say, /yell or whispers ("wtb sum", "lf lock", "lfw"...; editable). Click whispers them the offer, Shift + click also invites them, right click removes them; once in the group they move on to the summon queue. The offer names your price, or asks how much the buyer would pay when the price is 0. The price takes a plain number of gold ("5") or gold, silver and copper ("1g50s", "75s", "2g5c"). The Ad button posts a "WTS summon" ad to Trade (or another channel), at most once per 30 seconds. All texts are editable (, , , ); nothing is sent without a click. The window's Place field sets what says ("BRD meeting stone"); empty, it's the zone you're in, and it clears when you go to another zone.
  • Both summon windows can be resized by their bottom-right corner while unlocked, and scroll with the mouse wheel when more players are listed than fit; the queue scrolls out of combat only. Preview fills them with enough sample players to try the scrolling.
  • Not enough people at the portal: when you start a summon from the queue and fewer than two group members stand next to you, the addon asks for help ("Need 1 more next to me to click the summoning portal!"). For your group it goes to the group chat; for a summon you sold it also goes to /say, /yell and the ad channel (Trade), asking players around to whisper you for an invite. On by default, each channel and both texts adjustable, at most once per 15 seconds.
  • Summon announcements (off by default): when Ritual of Summoning starts, a line to the group chat ("Summoning , please click the portal!") and a whisper to the player ("Summoning you now, please accept the summon."). Both texts are editable.
  • Soulstone messages (off by default, texts editable): when you apply a Soulstone, tell the group who has it and whisper that player; a set time before it runs out (60 seconds by default), tell the group. {name} is the player and {time} the time left.
  • Reagents (WoW Forever, Classic Era, TBC): once you know Inferno or Ritual of Doom, the Soul Shard counter's tooltip shows your Infernal Stones and Demonic Figurines, and at a vendor that sells them they're bought up to the amount to keep (1 Infernal Stone and no Figurines by default; 0 = never), as far as your money goes. New Reagents settings page.
  • Demon talents (WoW Forever, Classic Era, TBC): with Soul Link learned, the demon icon reminds you when your demon is out but Soul Link isn't on (click to cast it; on by default). Optionally it reminds you to sacrifice your demon with Demonic Sacrifice (off by default). Both have their own highlight and sound and show out of combat only.
  • Enslave Demon timer (Subjugate Demon in Classic Era, TBC, Mists and Retail; every client): a movable label with the time your enslaved demon stays under control, up to 5 minutes (10 in Retail). Like the Soulstone label it has a warning and a critical zone (yellow from 60 seconds, red from 30; seconds, colors and sounds adjustable) and a sound when the timer runs out; in preview it runs fast and restarts.
  • New ranks at the trainer (WoW Forever, Classic Era, TBC): the addon remembers what your class trainer teaches (per character, read whenever you open the trainer, with the level each rank needs) and after a level up prints what you can learn now and what it costs. /wu trainer prints the same at any time. Optional sound.
  • Masque: with Masque installed, the icons take its skins (group WarlockUpkeep!).
  • LibDataBroker feed for display addons (Titan Panel, ElvUI, Bazooka...): the Soul Shard count as text (red when low), shards and the Soulstone target in the tooltip, and the minimap button's clicks.
  • Profiles: settings belong to a named profile, and each character picks one (Default unless set). New profiles copy the current one; any profile but Default can be deleted. Export turns the current profile into a text string to copy, Import loads such a string into the current profile (only settings the addon knows are taken; the string can't run code). Settings saved before are kept as the Default profile.
  • Firestone / Spellstone: stone menu. A right click on the icon opens a menu with both stones, like the demon flyout on Retail action bars; pick one and the icon switches to it. A left click still equips, applies or creates the stone, and holding the right button and dragging still moves the icon. Not in combat; the setting stays too.
  • Every slider in the settings has a box next to it to type the value: Enter applies it (kept within the slider's range), Escape puts back the current one.

Changed

  • /wu reset resets the current profile.
  • The settings window is wider and split into pages, picked from a list on the left. Messages and keyword lists have wide boxes that wrap long texts, with the placeholders each text takes listed under it and a Default button that resets just that text. Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac) undoes typing in any text box, also the selling window's Place, and Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y redoes it. Reset all settings sits under the page list and asks before it resets the profile.
  • The Ukrainian translation reads more naturally: уламки душ instead of осколки, мітка instead of лейба, consistent "Клік: ..." hints, plain words instead of slang, and the README's option names match the Ukrainian settings. A few English labels are clearer too ("Starts with this many seconds left", "Demon for each click and modifier"), and the Soulstone preview note now says the right thing: 300x means 5 minutes pass in a second.

Fixed

  • The demon icon asked for a demon while the Demonic Sacrifice buff was on; now it counts as a demon sacrificed on purpose, like Grimoire of Sacrifice.
  • Settings: long (translated) labels wrap instead of running under the slider, list or field next to them, and a button next to a list grows to fit its text.
