Warlock Raid Leader

Warlock Raid Lead gives the lead warlock in a raid full control over curse assignments, soulstone priority, and banish targets — all in one window, synced live to every other warlock in the group who has the addon installed.

How it works

Open the window with /wrl. The Summary tab gives you a matrix of every warlock and their current assignments at a glance. Use the Curses, Soulstones, and Banish tabs to make assignments from dropdowns, then hit Sync to push everything to the raid. Each warlock receives a whisper with their personal assignments when you announce.

Features

Summary tab
A matrix view of all warlocks showing their curse, banish marker, and soulstone target in a single row. Includes a live soulstone buff timer that tracks how long remains on each assigned target. Per-row clear buttons let you wipe one warlock's assignments instantly. A Clear All button resets everything.

Curse assignments
Assign a curse from the full TBC curse list to each warlock. Spell icons update live when a selection is made. Assignments sync to all warlocks with the addon in real time.

Soulstone priority
Assign a soulstone target to each warlock from a class-sorted dropdown — healers appear first, then warlocks, then everyone else, each coloured by class. A live buff timer shows how long remains on the soulstone for each assigned target.

Banish assignments
Assign one of the eight raid markers to each warlock for banish coordination. Marker icons render in the dropdown and on the card. Assignments sync and announce the same way as curses and soulstones.

Live raid sync
Every assignment change broadcasts instantly to all warlocks with the addon via addon messaging. A lead/member role system lets any warlock take the lead. Members see a read-only view that updates in real time as the lead makes changes.

Announce
Post assignments to your chosen channel — Raid Warning, Raid, Party, or Say. Announcing from a specific tab posts only that tab's assignments. Announcing from the Summary tab posts everything. Each warlock receives a whisper with their personal assignments after the broadcast.

Warlock detail popup
Click any warlock's spec icon to open a full inspect panel showing their talent build with coloured tree numbers and their complete gear list with item icons, quality-coloured names, and item levels. Hover any gear slot for the full in-game tooltip.

Personal assignment overlay
A small semi-transparent floating panel that appears automatically when assignments sync. Shows your assigned curse, banish marker, soulstone gem, and SS target name. As lead, it shows all warlocks in the raid so you can track every soulstone at once. Includes a live buff timer next to each target name. Draggable anywhere on screen, dismissable with the X button, and togglable from the main window.

Spec detection
Detects each warlock's spec via the inspect API. Spec icons with colour-coded rings appear on every card — purple for Affliction, green for Demonology, orange for Destruction. Click any spec icon to open the gear and talent popup.

Minimap button
A soul gem icon on the minimap opens and closes the main window. Drag it to reposition it anywhere around the minimap rim.

Notes
- Warlocks without the addon still receive whisper assignments and see the raid chat announce
- Spec detection requires being within inspect range of each warlock (~30 yards)
