A deeply unnecessary but spiritually important WoW addon that turns routine soulstones into professionally delivered emotional damage.
Soulstone But With Feelings turns your Warlock's soulstone into a tiny purple roast grenade.
Whenever you soulstone someone, the addon announces a randomly selected insult, backhanded blessing, grim fantasy prophecy, or emotionally damaging bit of "encouragement" using that player's name.
It is built for Warlocks who believe saving someone's life should also come with accountability, theatrical menace, and at least one unnecessary jab at mages.
Perfect for raids, dungeons, healer favoritism, wipe recovery, and any situation where death is temporary but shame should persist through the pull.
Because resurrection is nice.
Raid utility is useful.
But humiliation with a cooldown is art.

Required Macro:
The addon can automatically create or update a character macro named SoulstoneQuote when it loads out of combat.
You can also create or refresh the macro manually with:
/ssquote macro
Or by clicking the Create Macro button in the settings frame.
The macro still needs to be placed on your action bar by the player.
Macro body:
/use [@target,help,nodead][@player] Major Soulstone
/run SoulstoneQuotes_Announce()
Update the Soulstone item name as needed.
The addon provides the random quote list, category selection, legendary quote chance, and target-name insertion.
The macro is required because WoW blocks addons from automatically sending chat messages from spellcast or combat-log events. The player must intentionally trigger the announcement through the macro.

Settings Frame:
Click the minimap soulstone icon or use:
/ssquote settings
The settings frame lets you:
- Enable or disable quote sending.
- Toggle debug messages.
- Choose the active quote category.
- Choose SAY, PARTY, or RAID as the output channel.
- Run local test quotes.
- Preview legendary quotes.
- Create or refresh the SoulstoneQuote macro.
- Hide the minimap icon.
The minimap icon has been realigned and can be dragged around the minimap.
Use this command to show or hide the minimap icon:

Mat Cauthon's luck, Nynaeve's braid, Lews Therin's regrets, and the Pattern's complete indifference to your positioning.
/ssquote stormlight
Stormlight Archive themed quotes.
Radiant oaths, Kaladin's floor episodes, Nightblood's enthusiasm, and Wit watching you die with quiet disappointment.
/ssquote mistborn
Mistborn themed quotes.
Preservation, Ruin, Kelsier's spite, Vin's suspicion, and Atium showing every future in which you click the stone.
/ssquote firstlaw
First Law themed quotes.
Grimdark pragmatism, Glokta's bedside manner, Ferro's impatience, and Logen Ninefingers getting back up with less screaming than you.
/ssquote crossover
Mixed Cosmere crossover quotes.
Because Preservation, the Stormlight, and Ruin all agree you need to stop lying on the floor.
/ssquote hoid
Wit quotes.
Hoid has been to worlds you cannot imagine, watched empires fall, and collected stories across the Cosmere. He finds your death underwhelming and has notes.
The selected category persists between sessions.
The default category is "all".
The old /soulq command prefix remains available as a compatibility alias.

Legendary Quotes:
Every Soulstone quote has a 5% chance to be replaced by a legendary quote, regardless of the selected category.
Legendary quotes are rarer, harsher, and significantly more judgmental.
Use this command to preview one locally:
/ssquote legendary
It does not send anything to /say, /party, /raid, or any public channel.

What kind of quotes are we talking about?
Expect a mix of:
- Sassy Warlock superiority
- Fantasy-novel prophecy nonsense
- Grimdark corpse insurance
- Backhanded healer appreciation
- Raid-awareness bullying
- Mage slander with specific ability callouts
- Wit being disappointed in you across multiple worlds
- Occasional emotional damage
- Rare legendary humiliation procs
