Warfriends

The shared journey of your group of friends: what you achieved together, fun leaderboards and a chronicle of your adventures.

For WoW Forever and Classic Era. English and German. Everyone in your group needs Warfriends.

How it works

Found a Warband. Group up with your friends and invite them. From then on, everything you do together (at least 2 members grouped in the same zone) is remembered. Strangers in your group never count. Several groups of your Warband can play at the same time, and their time and numbers add up.

Features

• Overview – your Warband's banner, hours together, quests, mobs, dungeons, enemy players, deaths and the latest moments.
• Warfriends list – who is online, where they are, when you last saw them. Invite to the Warband or to your party with one click.
• Leaderboards – friendly titles for the leaders of your group:
  • Mana Fountain (most water handed out), Loot Goblin (who gets all the purples and blues)
  • You Even Playing? (most AFK time), Picnic Master (most food breaks)
  • Floor Inspector (most deaths), Ghost Runner (most time dead), First to Fall
  • Medic (most resurrections) etc.
• Stats – time together for the Warband and for you, favourite zones and more.
• Dungeons – every run you cleared together: time, deaths, who was there, plus dungeon records.
• Chronicle – your journey as a diary: founding, first kill, first death, level milestones, first dungeon clears, epic loot.
• Warband achievements – 27 shared goals from "Getting Started" to "Max Level Squad", with a popup when you unlock one.

Sharing

The addons of your friends sync by themselves: in a group, or while you are online at the same time, and they pass data on through other members. Only play time, milestones and small daily totals are shared. Old entries are merged into daily summaries so your saved data stays small.

Note

Without the combat log (blocked for addons on WoW Forever), kills are counted from the experience you get, so mobs that give no experience are not counted. Who landed the killing blow can't be known.

AI Disclaimer

Yes for this addon I used Claude to help me implement it. I review most of the code myself in the process and try to stick to best practices when it comes to safety, data storage, overall processes etc.
