WarCult 1.16
What's new
1.16
Count Frame
- Adjusted: The settings for a fresh install of the addon are now bare bones, resulting in a basic counter by default. This makes the cult aspect of the addon opt-in rather than opt-out.
- Adjusted: KB detection modified for recording of character total kb.
- Adjusted: Killing blow counter number briefly changes to yellow when KB.
- Adjusted: Killing blow counter number is now yellow when standing in any X.
- Adjusted: When standing in current sacrifice zone X and sacrificing your KBs, the counter is now an animated count down to zero, instead of instant zero. This happens regardless of display count option selected in settings, but after another 10 seconds the counter will revert to whatever display count is selected.
- Adjusted: When standing in current sacrifice zone X and sacrificing your KBs reaches zero, the icon glow appears, and then after 10 seconds the icon glow disappears.
Count Frame Display Count
- Added: Choose what the KB counter shows, with the new "Display Count" menu in the counter frame settings. Changing this setting does not affect the recorded KB stats, which are always recorded regardless of this setting.
Options
- Cult Kills Unsacrificed: The number of KB that have not been sacrificed at the X. Resets while standing in the current sacrifice zone's X (unstealthed). This allows you to manually reset the counter at the time of your choosing.
- Cult Kills: The total number of KB for the current character since addon was installed.
- Total Kills: The all time total number of KB for the current character, as per achievement id 1487.
- Kill Streak: The number of KB in a row since your last death, resets on character death, login, or /reload.
- Session Kills: The number of KB for the current session, resets on character login or /reload.
Count Frame Icon
- Added: New icon styles for WarCult's factions, Alliance, Horde, and Azeroth Defence Force (Eagle).
- Adjusted: The "Dark Inactive Icon" setting is now "Alternate Inactive Icon", because the new icons do not have a dark version, but they do have an alternate version. So, all icons now have an "alternate" inactive version which may be dark, or just different in some way.
- Adjusted: KB icon glow frame is now attached to the icon frame instead of the main frame.
- Fixed: The main frame's icon image subtly changes depending on your position with the X. But the icon could flicker slightly the first time each image loads in a WoW session. A function has been added to preload these icon images, removing that initial flicker.
Chat Stats
- Adjusted: Print stats to chat refined to focus on the most relevant killing stats + awards.
- Adjusted: "Cult Kills", a total of sacrificed and unsacrificed kills, replaces "Sacrificed Kills".
- Added: Stats for total kills by the character, if greater than cult kills.
- Added: Stats for most kills in a session by the character.
- Removed: Sacrificed XP number removed from chat stats. Instead stand in the X to see cult level and rank (if enabled) displayed on count frame.
- Removed: Kill challenges completed number removed from chat stats. The number has been repurposed as part of the kill challenge bonus xp.
Kill Challenges
- Adjusted: Setting label for kill count challenge changed from "Kill Count Challenge" to "50 Kills Challenge".
- Adjusted: The kill challenge frame text is now built up from a single string.
- Added: A new kill challenge "session kills" added to the kill challenges. Enable it in settings. If playing the WarCult minigame, get bonus xp for equalling your highest session kills.
- Added: A random chance for additional kill challenge completed bonus xp based on the number of kill challenges completed.
- Adjusted: Moved the kill streak number reset to character login event.
Audio
- Added: Sound alert audio channel can now be selected via the new "Channel" menu in the WarCult addon's audio settings. Note that the enabling and volume of each channel is set in WoW's audio settings. Dialog is selected by default, because it is the least likely to result in addon sound cut-off when there are lots of combat sounds at the same time.
