Warbanner
A guild roster and raid planner for TBC, synced across your whole guild.
Warbanner puts your guild roster and your raid plans in one window, and shares them with everyone in your guild who runs the addon. Build groups, check your composition, pick people to help you manage the raid, and invite everyone with one click.
Type /warbanner or /wbn to open it.
Features
Guild roster
- Your whole guild with class icons, class-colored names, levels and ranks.
- Online members are listed first, then by rank. Offline members are dimmed.
- Search by name, or check Online only to hide offline members.
- A green check shows who's already in the raid plan.
- Hover a name to see their class, rank, zone and group.
Raid planner
- Pick any TBC raid: Karazhan, Zul'Aman, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon's Lair, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, Mount Hyjal, Black Temple or Sunwell Plateau.
- Set a date and time.
- Group assignments: 10-man raids show 2 groups and 25-man raids show 5.
- Click a name to add them to the next open slot.
- Click a slot first to choose exactly where they go.
- Drag and drop people between slots to move or swap them.
- Right-click a slot to remove someone.
- Roles: click the role icon on any slot to switch between Tank, Healer and DPS. Each raid keeps its own roles, so everyone sees the same thing.
- You're added automatically: when you create a raid, your character goes into it.
- Notes: a space for strategy, loot rules, consumables and assignments.
Composition at a glance
- Raid size (like 18/25).
- How many tanks, healers and DPS you have.
- A count for every class. Classes you have none of are greyed out, so gaps are easy to spot.
Guild sync
- Raid plans are shared with every guild member who has Warbanner. New raids and changes show up for them within seconds.
- Catch up when you log in. If you were offline when a raid changed, you get the latest version from any guildmate online with the addon.
- Nothing appears in chat. Sync uses hidden addon messages that only Warbanner can see.
- Deletions sync too. When an owner deletes a raid, it's removed for everyone and won't come back from an old copy.
- A status line shows when changes are being sent or received, how many guildmates with Warbanner are online, and who made the last change.
Owners and coordinators
- The person who creates a raid owns it.
- Owners can add coordinators. Click Add, then pick someone from the roster. Coordinators can edit the raid just like the owner.
- Everyone else can view but not edit. Other guild members can see every planned raid, but the controls are locked unless they're a coordinator.
- Only the owner can add or remove coordinators, or delete the raid.
Planned raids
- Plan as many raids as you want.
- Each raid is a color-coded card showing its date, time, filled spots, role split, owner, and whether you can edit it ("Your raid", "you coordinate" or "view only").
- Click a card to open that raid.
Raid tools
- Invite Raid: invites everyone in the plan who's online and turns your group into a raid automatically.
- Arrange Groups: moves people already in your raid into the groups you planned. You need to be raid leader or assistant.
- Announce: posts the raid, date, time and filled spots in guild chat.
- Clear Plan: resets the raid you're editing and starts over.
Quick start
- Type
/warbanner(or/wbn). - Pick a raid and set the date and time.
- Click names in the roster to fill your groups, then drag people around until the groups look right.
- Click role icons to set tanks and healers.
- Click Add next to Coordinators to pick officers who can help manage the raid.
- On raid night, click Invite Raid, then Arrange Groups.
Good to know
- Sync needs another Warbanner user online. WoW doesn't let addons store data on Blizzard's servers. So if you're the only one online with the addon, you'll catch up as soon as someone else with Warbanner logs in.
- Blank raids don't sync. A new raid is only shared after its first change.
- Roles start as a guess. Priests start as Healer and everyone else starts as DPS. Click the role icon to fix anyone who's wrong.
- Arrange Groups can't move someone into a full group. Click it again after people shuffle around.
- Raid card pictures come from the game's calendar. If your client doesn't have one for a raid, the card shows a colored tile with the raid's short name instead.
