v1.8.0-forever
What's new
[1.8.0] - 2026-10-04
- A death card when an enemy player kills you in the open world: who it was, your record against them, their rank, any bounty on them and whether they're an outlaw, with Kill on Sight, Post a bounty and Where they've been. When the game's death recap doesn't name the killer, the one enemy who had you targeted is shown as "probably". It goes when you're alive again or after two minutes, can be moved, and replaces the "Killed by" line. Settings, Alerts: "Show a card when a player kills you" (on).
- Put a whole guild on your own Kill on Sight: right-click an enemy, "Kill on Sight: all of <guild>". Every member alerts as Kill on Sight, and Enemies, Kill on Sight lists the members Wanted knows, including ones only other Wanted users have seen. The same menu takes the guild off again. (Your guild's shared list is separate, as before.)
- Bring your Kill on Sight over from Spy or True Spy: with either installed, the Enemies page shows "Import Kill on Sight" (or type /wanted importspy). Their lists come over with their reasons: Spy's for all your characters, True Spy's for every realm. Players Wanted hasn't seen yet go on Kill on Sight the first time it sees them, so that first sighting already alerts as Kill on Sight. True Spy names players by first name only on Forever: a first name comes over only when Wanted knows exactly one player by it, and the rest are counted, never guessed.
- Your bounties: once you've confirmed a claim, the death's page is still a click away ("Death page", beside Pay and after paying), so you can check it again.
- Confirming a bounty claim: the death page's address in the box was cut off after 48 letters, so the copied link didn't work; it's whole now. A claim on a guild bounty names the member who died ("Fresh Meat of <OLYMPUS>"), in the confirm and dispute boxes alike, instead of only the guild.
- Fewer "No player named ... is currently playing" lines in chat: the game can answer Wanted's hidden greetings to players on other realm names minutes late, after Wanted had stopped hiding the answer. It now hides them for 10 minutes instead of 2.
