VoidProf
Your profession companion: what to spend knowledge on, where this week's knowledge comes from, and how to level from what your characters already have.
Open it with /vp or the minimap button. Every profession you have gets its own tab.
Leveling from what you have
- Craft now: the recipes that give you skill right now and how many you can craft from what's already in your bags, bank, warband bank and on your other characters (with VoidGather), nothing bought
- The cheapest path to 100 from your current skill, built from the game's own recipe data: when each recipe turns yellow and grey, how many points it gives, and the odds of a skill-up as it fades
- Uses your stock first and favors recipes that use it, but won't burn expensive materials to save a little gold
- Makes what's cheaper to make: crafts a material with a recipe you know (inks) and, for Inscription, mills your herbs into pigments. A "Make first" list says how many mills and crafts. Milling yields are learned from your own milling
- Your spare gear counts too: with VoidGear, the dust, shards and crystals that disenchanting your spare gear should give count as yours, so the Enchanting plan doesn't buy what your old gear holds
- From your characters: what to take from which character ("423x Eversinging Dust: warband bank 20, your gatherer 398")
- Still to buy, with prices from VoidAH if you have it. VoidAH's Professions tab at the Auction House shows the same list with Buy buttons
- Recipes you don't know yet are flagged NOT LEARNED
Knowledge
- What to spend your points on next, per specialization tree, for every profession with specializations (all nine crafting professions, Herbalism, Mining and Skinning), following the ranks you already have
- Every week: trainer quest, gathering drops and the Treatise, with done / to do
- Every month: the Darkmoon Faire quest
- One-time: first gathers, vendor books (with whether you can buy them yet) and each profession's 8 knowledge treasures. Click one for a waypoint and arrow, routed across continents through the right portal. A treasure's "looted" check is learned the first time any of your characters loots it
Helpers
- Cooking: Cast Cooking Fire, Fillet All Fish
- Recipe sync: opening a profession window saves your recipes and skill, so the plans start where you are
Compatibility
- WoW 12.1.5 (Midnight Season 2)
- Standalone: nothing else to install
- English game client (the recipe and knowledge data are keyed by English names); after learning a new profession,
/reloadto get its tab - Works with VoidAH (prices and Buy buttons), VoidGather (your other characters' materials) and VoidGear (disenchanting your spare gear). None of them is required.
