New: Folder rail

A compact strip of folders down the left edge of the notepad, as an alternative to the 150px sidebar that squeezes your note. Middle-click the folder button to toggle it.

• One chip per folder, colored automatically so you can tell them apart at a glance.
• Hover a chip to see that folder's tabs; click it to keep the list up.
• Ctrl + click a chip for its color, right-click for its menu.
• Drag chips up and down to reorder your folders.
• The bottom chip is your unfiled tabs. Scroll with the wheel when you have more folders than fit.
• Drag a tab from the header onto a chip to file it in that folder — hold it there and the folder opens so you can drop it at an exact position inside.
• Inside an open folder, drag tabs to reorder them, or onto another chip to move them across. A ghost shows where the tab will land.
• Opening the sidebar hides the rail; closing it brings the rail back.

Filing a tab never changes its place in the header — where a tab lives and where it sits in the tab row stay independent.

New: Note right-click menu

• Insert map pin — drops a clickable pin link for where you're standing, with the zone and coordinates as its text, so it reads as a place even in plain chat.
• Insert date and time — the same stamp the Quick Note binding uses.
• Find in all tabs — search for the selection, or the line you're on, across every tab without opening the search bar first.

New: Edge snapping setting

Dragging the window by its header snapped to the screen edges only while Alt was held. Now it's a setting: Off, While Alt is held (default, unchanged), or Always. Alt always gives you the other behaviour while you hold it, so you can place the window flush against an edge — or deliberately just off it — either way round.

New: Changelog tab

After an update, vNotePad now opens a short Changelog tab instead of the full Help tab. Reachable any time with /vnp changelog or from the Settings page. The "Show help after updates" setting is now "Show changelog after updates".

Changed

• Right-click menus are noticeably narrower. Long rows of channels now wrap onto a second line instead of stretching the whole menu to fit.
• The folder menu no longer repeats "Collapse / Expand" — clicking the folder row already does that, and the entry did nothing at all when opened from a rail chip.

Fixed

• Every row in the folder sidebar showed a stray empty box after logging in, until you clicked something.
• Right-clicking the note could clear your text selection before the menu opened, so the menu acted on nothing.
