Description
Vision Roll Announcer
Vision Roll Announcer is a lightweight raid loot rolling addon for World of Warcraft.
The purpose of the addon is to make loot rolling faster, cleaner, and easier for the raid leader. It automatically tracks player rolls, detects the highest roll, announces the winner, and saves finished loot rounds into a history window.
Only the raid leader or loot master needs to have the addon installed. Other players can roll normally using /roll.
What the addon does
When an item is posted in raid warning, the addon automatically starts a new roll round. It announces that players can now roll and starts a 15-second countdown timer.
Example:
Now roll for [Item] – 15 second timer!
During the timer, the addon reads normal /roll results from the chat and sorts the players by their roll number.
The interface shows:
Player
Class
Role / Spec
Roll
Status
The highest roller is highlighted at the top. After 15 seconds, the round ends automatically and the addon announces the winner.
Example:
Zuku wins with 68 for [Item]
The finished round is then saved into the history window together with the item, winner, roll value, time, and number of rolls.

Why this addon is useful
The addon removes manual work from raid loot distribution.
Without it, the raid leader has to watch chat, compare rolls, remember who rolled highest, announce the winner, and track which item was assigned. This can become messy during raids, especially when many players roll at the same time.
Vision Roll Announcer handles that automatically, so the loot process is faster, more transparent, and less error-prone.
