What's new

Initial release 0.5.2:

This release includes:

  • Up to 32 spell rules, checked in priority order.

  • Spell selection based on whether a tracked buff is present or missing.

  • Cooldown skipping for supported spells.

  • Self, Target, Focus, and Mouseover casting options.

  • Optional channel protection and Once per proc handling for supported channeled abilities.

  • An automatically created Vibe Button macro for your action bar.

  • Saved settings for each character, a minimap launcher, and movable buttons.

Testing so far has been limited to a mage, using Missile Barrage for proc-based spell selection and Eureka! for cooldown skipping. Other classes and abilities have not yet been verified.

Current limitations include:

  • Buff and cooldown rules require matching, supported entries in Blizzard’s Cooldown Manager.

  • Each new spell selection requires a fresh keypress. Holding the key continues using the initially selected spell.

  • Item cooldowns and charge-based cooldowns are not currently supported.

  • Applying changes with Prepare requires being out of combat.

  • A spell failing because of range, insufficient resources, or an invalid target does not cause the addon to try the next rule.

  • Repeated presses during a channel previously caused occasional extra Arcane Missiles casts. Additional protection is included, but its effectiveness still needs confirmation in game.

Planned improvements focus on:

  • Adding item-based cooldown support once an appropriate item is acquired for testing.

  • Investigating press-and-hold functionality so spell selection can respond to changing conditions while a key remains held.

  • Expanding testing across more classes, buffs, procs, and cooldowns.
