Vibe Rotation is a customizable one-button rotation addon for WoW Forever. Build your own spell priorities, connect them to Blizzard's Cooldown Manager, and use a single action bar button to cast. The button responds to tracked buffs, procs, and cooldowns during combat, selecting a spell from your rules with each press.
Your rotation starts with a simple list. Add the spells you want to use and arrange them from highest to lowest priority. Each press checks that list from the top and selects the first matching spell. Put the spell you want to spam last, so it becomes your fallback whenever higher priorities do not apply.
Rules let you decide when an ability belongs in that rotation. Use a spell while a tracked buff is active, apply a buff when it is missing, or add an ability that needs no buff condition. You can start with two spells and expand the list as you learn abilities or change your build. Vibe Rotation supports up to 32 rules per character.
Cooldown skipping gives those priorities another condition to work with. Enable Skip cooldown for a supported spell, and the button moves past it while its cooldown is running. Once it is ready and its other conditions match, it becomes eligible again. This lets you include abilities with longer cooldowns alongside the spells you use regularly.
Everything is configured in the addon window. Add or remove spells, move rules up or down, and choose Self, Target, Focus, or Mouseover as each spell's destination. There is no code to paste, and your individual spells do not need dedicated action bar slots. The addon creates a Vibe Button macro that you can place on your bar and use with its normal keybind.
Blizzard's own trackers supply the buff and cooldown information behind your choices. You choose what to track and how the button should react. Optional channel protection helps keep ongoing channels from being interrupted by repeated presses, while saved character settings let you return to your established rotation after logging in.
The VR medallion beside the minimap opens the editor whenever you want to adjust your setup. Hold Shift and drag outside combat to reposition it or the separate casting button. Apply changes with Prepare, then continue using the same action bar macro. The README covers setup in detail.
To set it up:
-
Install and enable Vibe Rotation, then enter /vibe.
-
Add spells, choose their conditions, and arrange priorities with your fallback spell last.
-
Add required buffs to Buff Bars or Buff Icons in Blizzard's Cooldown Manager. Set the group to Always visible and enable Hide when inactive.
-
For cooldown skipping, add supported spells to Essential or Utility Cooldowns and keep that group visible. Some spells also need their own buff tracked; the README explains these setups.
-
Close tracker settings and Edit Mode, leave combat, and click Prepare. Click Drag macro to bar, drop Vibe Button into an action bar slot, and use that slot's keybind with a fresh press for each selection.
