Blizzard's chat, action bars, XP bars, micro menu, bags and minimap get UwUI's look, with quick keybinds, one bag for minimap buttons and an optional frosted glass look for the options window.

New

• Options Window
  • Frosted Glass: A new switch on the General page, under Options Window, turns the options window, the setup, tooltips, menus, pop-ups and the edit mode toolbar into frosted glass: see-through, with a soft shine and a bright top edge. It starts off, so nothing changes until you turn it on
• HUD
  • Action Bars: A new Action Bars page puts UwUI's own action bars in place of Blizzard's: flat square buttons with your Style border and font, moved in edit mode like any other element. Each of the eight bars, the Stance Bar and the Pet Bar has its own size, button count, row length, spacing and mouseover fade
  • Quick Keybind: Type /kb, hover a button on your action bars and press a key or mouse button to bind it. Esc over a button clears its keys
  • Minimap: A new Minimap page makes the minimap square and flat, with your Style border, the zone name colored by zone type, a clock and a mail icon. It moves in edit mode like any other element, scrolling over it zooms, and a right-click picks what it tracks
  • Button Bag: Every addon's minimap button goes into one bag, opened by a small button in a corner of the minimap, instead of crowding around its edge
  • XP And Reputation Bars: A new XP & Reputation page puts flat XP and reputation bars in place of Blizzard's, in your Style texture and border. They move in edit mode like any other element, show your rested experience and standing, and are split into sections like Blizzard's. Their numbers can always show or only when you point at them, in the format and spot you pick, and the bars can fade out until your mouse is over them or be hidden completely
  • Micro Menu And Bags: A new Menu & Bags page turns Blizzard's micro menu and bag buttons into flat icons with your Style border that move in edit mode like any other element. A bag of Uncommon quality or better colors its border, and both can fade out until your mouse is over them or be hidden completely. The bags can also show only your backpack
• Chat And Commands
  • Chat: A new Chat page gives Blizzard's chat UwUI's look: a flat panel with your Style border, which you can turn off, a matching input box and UwUI tabs with a line on the one you are reading. Tabs with unread messages glow, and whisper tabs take the whisper color. All chat text takes the font and text style from the Style page, and you pick the background, input box and tab colors
  • Buttons: A column of UwUI buttons beside the chat replaces Blizzard's: Friends and Guild with how many are online, Channels, Copy Chat and Scroll To Bottom. The column and the tabs can stay hidden until your mouse is over the chat
  • Size: The chat moves in UwUI's edit mode like any other element, and its width and height are sliders on the Chat page, so Blizzard's Edit Mode is no longer needed for it
  • Input Box: The box you type in opens above the chat's tabs or under the chat, and its text is as big as the chat's
  • Short Channel Names: Numbered channels show only their number, such as [2] instead of [2. Trade - City]
  • Hide Says: Say messages drop the word "says", so they read [Name]: hello. Turn it off on the Chat page to bring it back
  • Mentions: When someone writes your character's name in chat, it is highlighted and the UwUI Message sound plays. Pick the sound and color, or turn either off
  • Whispers: A whisper plays the soft UwUI Message sound in place of Blizzard's. Pick another sound, or turn it off to hear Blizzard's again
  • Chat Bubbles: The speech bubbles over people's heads lose their border and tail and get a tight background, in your Style font. Pick the text size, padding and background color, or turn the background off
• General
  • Addon List: UwUI now comes as a suite: Timers, Tracking, HUD, Action Bars, Chat and Minimap are their own addons under UwUI in the addon list, so you can turn off any part you don't use. Your settings stay the same

• Setup And Help
  • Setup Screen: The Features step has a new Interface part for the action bars, XP and reputation bars, micro menu and bags, chat and minimap, and lists only the parts whose addon is turned on
• Options Window
  • No More Tabs: Every page now shows all its settings in one scrolling list. Pages with many settings, such as Action Bars, Chat, Resource Bars and Style, are split into parts under clear headings, with the general settings first
  • Names: The same setting now has the same name on every page: Show On Mouseover, Faded Opacity %, Out Of Combat Opacity %, Show Background and Text Size
  • Contact: The Contact window now recommends BugSack & BugGrabber, two free addons that catch the errors the game hides, in a short note at the bottom that explains how to send them with a bug report. A button opens BugSack when you have it
  • Live Samples: The sample of each page's element moved from the page title to a strip above the settings that stays in place while they scroll, and shows the element at its real size. The swing bars there are real copies that move exactly like the bars on your screen
  • Color Picker: The Original swatch is now Default: It always shows the setting's default color, and clicking it puts that color back. Cancel still returns to the color you started with
• Tracking
  • Glow: The glow on cooldown, reactive, buff and debuff icons now sits inside the icon, within its border, instead of around it

Fixed

• Options Window
  • Fold Window: Opening the folded window again no longer makes the game stutter for a second or two
  • Block Keybinds: Your keys no longer stay blocked after this window or edit mode closes, for example after a crash or a reload
  • Color Picker: Recent colors keep their opacity, and an opacity or hex code you type now sticks when you press Done or close the picker without pressing Enter
• Edit Mode
  • Position: The X and Y boxes in edit mode now show whole pixels, instead of numbers ending in .4 or .9 that were a fraction off
• General
  • Minimap Button: Addons that gather minimap buttons, such as Leatrix Plus, now keep UwUI's button with its own tooltip, clicks and position

  • Rounded: The Rounded option on the Style page, under Icons, is gone, so icons are always square
