What's new

Changelog

v1.6.0 (2026-08-30)

  • New: settings profiles. All characters share one account-wide setup by default; ticking "This character only" at the top of /unbuffed gives the current character its own separate copy (seeded from the settings active at that moment), and "Copy from…" replaces it with a copy of another character's setup — or of the account-wide one. Unticking returns to the shared setup and keeps the character's copy for later. Existing settings carry over unchanged as the account-wide setup.
  • New: the party-bar preview now labels each bar "Party member 1…4", so it's clear which bar belongs to which future group slot while positioning.
  • New: clicking an incoming-buff icon that is still ticking down no longer claims the buff is missing — a second, separate chat message is sent instead (" runs out in - rebuff me please?"), with the remaining time filled in. Both messages are editable in the settings; the new tag carries the countdown.
  • Fixed: a party member beyond visual range (~100 yards, typically deep in a dungeon where the addon deliberately doesn't apply the 40-yard gate) could show as missing every buff — the game simply returns no aura data at that distance. No data now means no bar, the same as for offline or dead members.

v1.5.0 (2026-08-22)

  • New: weapon temp enchants are now tracked. Shamans get reminded of their weapon imbues (Rockbiter, Flametongue, Frostbrand, Windfury) and rogues of their poisons — per equipped weapon, so dual-wielders see main-hand and off-hand separately, and nothing shows for a shield or held frill. Like the mage armors, each weapon is an either-or choice in the settings: any enchant on the weapon satisfies the reminder, and the one you tick is what the icon shows and what a click applies. Clicking a poison uses the best rank in your bags; imbues are cast like any other buff.
  • New: priest racial buffs — Fear Ward (Dwarf), Touch of Weakness (Undead) and Shadowguard (Troll). Group reminders know which race provides them, so you'll only be told to ask for Fear Ward if a Dwarf priest of the right level is actually in your group.
  • New: setting "Warn at" to 0 is now a real choice meaning "no countdown — only remind me once the buff is gone". Leaving the box empty keeps the automatic default, as before.
  • Fixed: an expiring weapon enchant's reminder could briefly vanish and reappear (the game occasionally reports a bad remaining time); the countdown now rides through those readings.
  • Config window: typing in a Warn-at box now shows a small OK button until the value is saved, so it's clear when the change has taken effect.

v1.4.0 (2026-08-16)

  • Russian (ruRU) is now supported: the reminder tooltips, the right-click dismiss menus and the whole settings window are translated, using Blizzard's own in-game wording. Buff names themselves have always come from the game client, so those were already in your language.

v1.3.0 (2026-08-14)

  • Fixed: click-to-buff broke during combat on current game clients (ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED: Button:EnableMouse() spam, and icons that stopped casting when clicked — sometimes staying dead even after the fight). The game now forbids switching a secure button's mouse on or off mid-combat, so the click targets are armed and switched on when the fight starts and an invisible, fully insecure cover frame handles the mid-fight on/off duty instead. Asking for buffs in party chat was never affected.
  • Fixed: tooltips always showed Rank 1 of a buff. They now show the highest rank you know — the one a click actually casts.
  • Mage/Warlock armors are now an either-or choice in the settings: only one armor can be tracked at a time (like Dampen vs Amplify Magic). The Frost/Ice Armor line stays on by default; if you were using Mage Armor (or Fel Armor on TBC), your choice is carried over automatically.
  • Frost Armor upgrades in place: once you train Ice Armor at 30, the reminder shows, tooltips and casts Ice Armor — no more Rank-1 Frost Armor suggestions. Same for Warlock's Demon Skin → Demon Armor at 20.

v1.2.0 (2026-08-02)

  • Clicking a reminder icon now buffs you (and your party members) during combat as well, not just out of it.
  • New options under "Allow in combat": untick Buffing to make the bars click-through during a fight, or Dismissing to keep the right-click dismiss menu out of combat. Both are on by default. Asking for a rebuff in party chat is never blocked.
  • Fixed: icons no longer got stuck on screen during a fight. Buffs you or your party members received mid-combat kept showing as missing until the fight ended.
  • Icons now hold their position for the duration of a fight — a buff that comes back leaves its slot empty rather than making the rest of the row shift under your cursor. They close ranks again when combat ends.
  • Unlocking the bars no longer fights with the click targets: while unlocked, a drag always moves the bar instead of casting.

v1.1.3 (2026-07-24)

  • Re-release of 1.1.2 (the 1.1.2 package never got built). No in-game changes.

v1.1.2 (2026-07-24)

  • Maintenance release: release notes now come from a curated changelog instead of raw commit output. No in-game changes.

v1.1.1 (2026-07-24)

  • The "check where" rule now defaults to open-world range gating: party buff checks only nag about members who are actually in range while out in the world, instead of everyone in the group.

v1.1.0 (2026-07-24)

  • New pulse bounce mode for reminder icons.
  • New "check where" rule: choose whether buffs are checked in instances, in the open world (with range gating), or everywhere.
  • Classic Era only for now: dropped the TBC interface flag.

v1.0.0 (2026-07-24)

  • Party bars: "Move together" now works together with "Attach to frames".
  • Added Earth Shield (TBC shaman talent buff, castable on others).

v0.1.0 (2026-07-23)

  • Initial release. Bouncing reminders for missing and expiring buffs — yours, your party's on you, and yours on your party. Everything is tracked by default; no setup needed.
