## Fixes
• **Fixed a Lua error that could lock you out of an action.** A user reported
"attempt to compare local 'value' (a secret number value, while execution
tainted by 'UALL')" while scrolling. The cause was ours: to stop long
Ukrainian labels from being cut off with an ellipsis, the addon adjusted the
width and height of rows inside the game's own scrolling lists. The game
computes those measurements itself, and once an addon interferes the next
internal check fails — the list stops scrolling, the button stops
responding.
The addon no longer adjusts sizes inside scrolling lists anywhere: quest
tracker, achievements, gossip window, professions. As a result a very long
label may be truncated with "…" again, and rows in conversations may sit a
little tighter. That trade is deliberate — a clipped label is a nuisance, an
error that blocks a click is not.
• **Fixed stutter in the general interface.** The game hitched for a fraction
of a second, and only with the general interface translation enabled;
quest-only translation was smooth. The addon was resolving every label from
scratch on every pass, and an open window is re-read four times a second.
The most expensive cases were the misses — strings with no translation at
all, because only those ran the full lookup chain to the end.
Results are now remembered, misses included. Menu traversal became three
times cheaper and the worst delays halved.
• **Removed translated player and guild names.** Labels under other players'
pets and portals showed transliterated names of real people. All 162 such
entries were deleted.
A check now runs before every release. It catches names it can prove are
players': known nicknames, cross-realm suffixes such as "-TarrenMill", and
"X's Pet" labels whose owner does not exist as a creature in the game data.
A name that fits none of those patterns could still slip through, so please
report any you spot. Guild names and character names are never translated
on purpose.
• **Started cross-checking creature names between windows.** The same
character could be called one thing in a quest and another in the tracker,
sending you to look for someone the game does not know under that name.
New translations are now compared against the names already in the database
before they are accepted; this release caught four such conflicts, and one
creature that had accumulated four different Ukrainian names.
This does not mean every name in the database agrees with every other one —
older entries still hold known disagreements, and those are being worked
through.
## New translations
• **System chat messages.** These stayed in English because each one has a
name or a number baked into it, which would mean a separate entry for every
player alive. They are now translated as patterns, so the player's name
passes through untouched and reads exactly as it does in game:
"[character name] приєднується до групи."
Covers party and raid membership, logging in and out, accepting and turning
in quests, experience gained, levelling, appearance collection, dungeon
difficulty, queues, relationships with characters, Garrison blueprints,
Housing, duels and guild messages, among others.
• **Interface tooltips** — the largest addition in this release: the text that
appears under the cursor almost everywhere.
• **The crafting window** — item names, specialisation nodes, skill bars and
crafting orders.
• **Character dialogue and world barks**, and **quest objectives** in the
tracker.
• **Spells and abilities.**
• **Housing** — the decor tutorial, dyes, the catalogue and Neighborhood.
• **Delves** — companion curios and in-dungeon tooltips.
The database now holds **36,949 quests**.
