What's new

Changelog

1.0.0 (2026-10-20)

Added

  • Need rolls: every other player's Need roll is saved with yours. The Loot & Gold list says "Won (92 vs 40)" or "Won (14, uncontested)", and the item's tooltip lists everyone's Need roll with the winner first. The replay's roll cards say it too. Counted from this version on.
  • Dungeons & Raids tab: every dungeon and raid of the game, Forever's own too (City of Dalaran, Excavation Site: Wetlands, Ruins of Lordaeron, The Hall of Thanes, Manor Mistmantle), with its level, your runs, time inside, the bosses you've killed and how many runs reached the end boss, the one you were in last on top. Click one for its details: its bosses (by wing for Scarlet Monastery, Dire Maul, Blackrock Spire and Stratholme), its runs (click one to replay it) and the loot that came out of it. Boss kills are counted from this version on.
  • Replay tab: choose what to replay (everything, today, some days, some levels, one session or one dungeon run) and how, then start it. The replay settings moved here from the Settings tab.
  • Level-up popup tells the level you just finished like a postcard: time played, distance and zones, kills, quests, people met and more. The Timeline's level cards say it too.
  • Met-again popup: click it to target the player (out of combat, when they're near).
  • Professions: hovering "recipes learned" lists your professions with their rank and how many recipes you know of all there are ("Artisan, 23/181 recipes"), the Recipes list shows each recipe's profession, and the profession filter covers both lists. Opening a profession's window sorts crafts and recipes that were "Unknown".
  • Overview has three pages: General (as before), Time spent (away, in combat, dead and as a ghost, casting, alone or grouped, mounted, flying, swimming, resting, by a campfire, in capitals, dungeons and raids) and Experience (XP from kills, quests and discovering places, the rested and group bonuses and the raid penalty, and each level's XP). Most times are counted from this version on.
  • Time format (Settings, General): times of day like the game clock, or always with 12 or 24 hours.
  • Gold sources (Loot & Gold): auction deposits, the auction house's cut and cash on delivery have their own rows. Gold earned at the auction house is the full sale price; outbid refunds and deposits returned with a sale aren't earned but lower what was spent (the "gold spent" tooltip lists them).
  • Auction House tab: what you sold (buyer, price, cut, deposit), what didn't sell and what you bought (seller, price), read from the auction house's mails as you take them, in two lists one above the other across the page. Counted from this version on.
  • Reputation tab: every faction you know with its standing and progress, and when it reached each standing (counted from this version on), with a card in the replay for each new standing.
  • PvP tab: duels won and lost by opponent, battlegrounds and arenas with how they ended, honorable kills and the players who killed you. Duels and battlegrounds get replay cards, duels a crossed-swords pop. Counted from this version on.

Changed

  • Bar colors: the Time spent, Experience and gold bars are colored, with the same color for the same thing on every page (fighting dark red, quests gold, rested blue, flights green).
  • "Met again after" is a slider in hours (1 to 24, 12 by default): the popup comes when you see someone you haven't seen for that long, even on the same day.
  • Popups: long titles wrap to a second line.
  • Loot & Gold: very large gold amounts fit their tiles and bars.
  • Professions tab: no more profession cards and "professions" tile; "Crafted" and "Recipes learned" run across the page, one under the other. Each profession's rank, recipes and dates are in the "recipes learned" tile's tooltip.
  • Replay timeline: it shows 2 hours of active time by default instead of pages of 24 hours (15 minutes to 24 hours, set from its button, the mouse wheel over it or the Replay tab) and follows the arrow. Above it, an overview of the whole replay shows the level-ups; click it to jump or drag its bracket. The page arrows now jump to the previous and next level-up.

Fixed

  • Need rolls could be saved twice after a /reload in a dungeon.
  • List headers switched back to English after sorting a list in German.

0.10.3 (2026-10-18)

Changes since 0.10.2.

Added

  • Met again popup: when you see a player you've met before on a new day, a popup says who, on which day you've seen them and when you last did. "Met again after" (Settings, Popups) sets how long you must not have seen someone first.
  • Tooltips: creatures show how often you've killed their kind ("Killed 37 times"), and players you've grouped with show the days you've met and your time together. Switch them off with "Tooltips" (Settings, General).
  • People tab: a "Last met" column, and a right-click menu on every player to whisper, invite, add as a friend or copy the name.
  • Shares on hover: the class and race bars on the People tab and every bar on Loot & Gold show their percentage of the total.
  • Value of deleted items: a new tile on Loot & Gold adds up what a vendor would have paid for everything you destroyed, with the most valuable ones in its tooltip. Counted from this version on.
  • Professions: the Crafted list shows each item's profession and can be filtered by profession.
  • Date format (Settings, General): dates the way the game writes them in its language (10/18/2026, 18.10.2026...) or a fixed format; times follow the game clock's 12- or 24-hour setting.
  • Map path settings (Settings, Map path): line width, opacity, solid or dashed, flights dashed or solid, color by travel mode, level or age, and your own color for each travel mode. The map and a running replay follow them at once.
  • Replay:
    • Gold you spend floats up as a red minus, left of the arrow.
    • Mining, herbalism and skinning pop up their profession's icon, with a "Gathering" filter to turn them off.
    • Green and better items you loot pop up their icon.
    • Click a screenshot card to copy its file name, or its full path once you enter your Screenshots folder in Settings, Screenshots. Screenshots in the journal's Timeline have a "Copy" button too.
  • Deaths: the killer is read from the game's death recap, so it names what really killed you rather than a guess; falls, drowning, fire, lava, slime and exhaustion get their own words.
  • /tlog rolls lists this session's group loot rolls: every item, your choice, the winner and everyone's roll.
  • Recorded for later: XP by source (rested bonus, group bonus, raid penalty and XP for discovering places) and every place you discover, for a future page.

Changed

  • Need rolls are read from the game's loot history, so rolls in dungeons are saved too, with the winner's roll when you lose.
  • Full names: players show with their surname ("Glorah Maebryn") on the People tab and in the replay's met-again and group cards.
  • Replay:
    • The arrow is where you were at each moment: every point of your path keeps its exact time, and after a stop the arrow waits, then moves on at your pace.
    • Group members' positions are recorded more often and their dots move smoothly instead of jumping.
    • Icons that pop up at the same time stand side by side instead of replacing each other, and a quest's "!" or "?" shows on top of its "+XP".
    • The clock no longer stops at level-ups and deaths. "Pause at level-ups and deaths" (Settings, Replay) brings the short stop back.
    • Closing the map ends the replay.
  • Professions tab: the profession cards show the rank and when you learned it, without the skill numbers and bar.
  • Map: the path tooltip no longer shows your speed.
  • Settings: the page scrolls when there's more than fits.

For developers

  • A development copy, "Travelogue Dev" (TravelogueDev.toc, /tlogdev), can run beside the CurseForge release with its own saved data. Enable only one of them per character.
