Transmoggin v0.2.0 — MoP Classic + Retail

This is a major milestone for Transmoggin.

Transmoggin now officially supports both Mists of Pandaria Classic and World of Warcraft Retail from the same addon package.

On clients with native transmogrification support, Transmoggin integrates with the actual Blizzard transmog system rather than simulating it.

Important

Classic Era and Burning Crusade Anniversary are not supported.

Those clients do not currently provide Blizzard's native transmogrification system, and Transmoggin will not pretend that functionality exists.

Database Improvements

Transmoggin now maintains client-aware source intelligence for MoP Classic and Retail.

Retail source information uses Blizzard's live APIs alongside Transmoggin's locally generated source intelligence. The addon never requires web access while playing.

Raw database exports are not included with Transmoggin.

Transmoggin started as a project I had been working on since Cataclysm Classic, with the goal of building something much larger than a replacement Transmogrifier window.

With v0.2.0, that vision now extends across both MoP Classic and Retail.
