Transmoggin is a complete World of Warcraft transmog suite for Mists of Pandaria Classic and Retail.

I've been working on Transmoggin since Cataclysm Classic, gradually building the transmog addon I always wanted to use myself. What started as an idea for a better way to browse appearances has grown into a complete system for designing, collecting, tracking, applying and photographing outfits.

Transmoggin isn't intended to simply reskin Blizzard's Wardrobe.

The goal is simple:

If Transmoggin shows you an appearance, it should help you do something with it.

Preview it. Build with it. Save it. Track it. Find it. Transmog it. Photograph it.

The Transmoggin Salon

The Salon is the heart of Transmoggin.

Build an outfit around a full character preview while browsing appearances for individual equipment slots.

Transmoggin understands the active character and focuses the experience around appearances appropriate for that character.

Search for specific appearances, experiment with combinations and build the outfit before committing to anything.

Blizzard Sets

Browse Blizzard's armor sets directly inside Transmoggin.

Preview complete sets on your character, browse by expansion, see collection progress, save sets as custom looks, and track the pieces you're still missing.

Transmoggin is designed to make Blizzard sets part of the same workflow as individually created outfits.

Not every great transmog comes from a predefined set.

Create your own.

Transmoggin lets you build and save custom outfits using appearances from across the game.

Saved looks can be loaded again later, modified, tracked or deleted.

Your custom outfits become collection goals rather than screenshots you have to remember.

Missing Appearance Tracker

Found the perfect outfit but only own half of it?

Track it.

Transmoggin can turn a saved look into a collection objective and show which appearances you already have and which pieces you're still hunting.

Combined with HOW TO OBTAIN information, the Tracker is designed to answer two questions:

What am I missing?

and

Where do I go next?

HOW TO OBTAIN

One of Transmoggin's biggest goals is reducing how often you need to leave World of Warcraft just to research an appearance.

Depending on the client and information Blizzard makes available, Transmoggin can provide acquisition intelligence such as:

• Dungeon and raid sources
• Boss/encounter information
• Item alternatives that unlock the same appearance
• Profession and crafting information
• Crafting materials
• Quest/source information
• Vendor guidance
• Reputation information
• Currency information
• Set relationships
• Difficulty/variant information

Transmoggin combines Blizzard's live APIs with locally bundled source intelligence.

No web connection is required while playing.

When exact information cannot be verified, Transmoggin is intentionally conservative rather than inventing an NPC, cost or drop source.

Random Outfit

Can't decide what to wear?

Let Transmoggin do it.

Random Outfit generates an entire appearance using eligible armor and weapon appearances.

Use it for inspiration, discover combinations you would never have tried yourself, or generate a missing-appearance outfit and turn it into a new collection goal.

Weapons Included

Transmoggin isn't limited to armor.

Main-hand and applicable off-hand appearances are integrated directly into outfit building, including supported one-handed, two-handed, ranged, shield and off-hand combinations.

Photo Mode

Once you've built the perfect outfit, show it off.

Transmoggin includes a dedicated full-screen Photo Mode that removes the normal interface and turns the character preview into a screenshot studio.

Your selected background is remembered between sessions.

Designed to Stay Inside WoW

Transmoggin uses precompiled local data, indexed lookups, caching and Blizzard's own APIs wherever possible.

There are no enormous database scans every time you click an appearance and no requirement to open an external website from the addon.

Performance has been an important part of the design from the beginning.

The same Transmoggin interface and philosophy are maintained across both clients while client-specific compatibility code handles differences in Blizzard's APIs.

Transmoggin does not claim support for Classic versions that don't actually contain Blizzard's native transmogrification system.

You don't need to own thousands of appearances to enjoy Transmoggin.
