TrainerCheck

TrainerCheck is a lightweight class progression addon built specifically for World of Warcraft Forever.

It gives you a clear overview of your learned abilities, missing training, upcoming unlocks and important talents — without requiring you to constantly travel back to a class trainer just to check what comes next.

TrainerCheck combines a bundled Forever progression database with live information from your character, spellbook, talent tree and class trainer.

Current

The Current tab shows:

• Abilities you have already learned
• Abilities currently available or missing
• Quest, Trainer, Talent, Automatic and other ability sources
• Your next level-based unlock
• Training cost when live trainer data is available
• Notable talents relevant to your current build

TrainerCheck also understands Forever's modern talent system and takes Legacy effects such as Talented into account when determining which talents are actually reachable.

Notable talents

TrainerCheck can identify the general direction of your current talent build and highlight selected talents that may be worth considering.

Recommendations are intentionally conservative and use labels such as:

Core — central to the build
Strong — generally a very good option
Utility — useful or situational

TrainerCheck does not attempt to force a single cookie-cutter build. If it is not confident that a recommendation is relevant, it simply does not show one.

Future

The Future tab shows your next unlock and upcoming training levels.

You can also enter a specific level to inspect what becomes available there.

Ability Search

Not sure when you learn something?

Use the built-in search field and type all or part of an ability name:

TrainerCheck searches the progression data for your current class and shows the level, rank and source for matching abilities.

Native tooltips

Mouse over abilities throughout TrainerCheck to view their normal in-game spell or talent tooltip whenever the client provides the required spell data.

TrainerCheck uses Blizzard's own spell and talent information whenever possible instead of maintaining duplicated descriptions.

Live trainer sync

Opening your class trainer allows TrainerCheck to verify its bundled data against the current Forever build.

Live trainer information can provide:

• Current training levels
• Training costs
• New or changed abilities
• Updated ranks
• Additional tooltip information

Profession trainers such as Alchemy trainers are automatically ignored.

TrainerCheck is careful with low-level trainers as well. If a trainer does not yet expose a distant future ability, TrainerCheck keeps the bundled progression data rather than assuming the ability has been removed.

Changes

WoW Forever is actively evolving.

The Changes tab compares bundled TrainerCheck data with abilities actually observed at your class trainer.

It can highlight things such as:

• New trainer abilities
• Removed or changed ranks
• Changed training levels

This makes TrainerCheck useful not only as a leveling tool, but also as a way of spotting progression changes between Forever updates.

Level-up notifications

When you gain a level, TrainerCheck displays a short on-screen notification telling you what has just become available — or when your next training level will be.

The notification remains visible long enough to actually read it.

Class support

TrainerCheck includes progression data and shared support for all nine Forever classes:

Druid · Hunter · Mage · Paladin · Priest · Rogue · Shaman · Warlock · Warrior

Both Alliance and Horde characters are supported.

Beta status

TrainerCheck is currently released as a Beta because WoW Forever itself is still changing and some class progression data may change between builds.

The addon is designed around this: bundled data provides useful information before visiting a trainer, while live trainer synchronization helps verify and correct progression information as Forever evolves.
