Description
Too Many Cooks is a lightweight helper for World of Warcraft cooking events.
Currently supports Suspicious Stew on The Coiled Isle. The addon listens for the Witherbark Cook's ingredient callouts and displays a simple four-option panel, highlighting the ingredient you need to add next.
The panel automatically appears when the event begins and disappears when you're finished. It includes progress tracking, a mirrored layout for approaching the ingredients from either direction, and a movable interface.
The addon remains dormant outside the supported area, keeping it out of the way during normal gameplay.
Current features: automatic event detection, ingredient highlighting, 6-step progress tracking, flip/mirror layout, draggable UI, automatic reset on a failed stew, and automatic hide on completion.
Development Status
Too Many Cooks was put together quickly as a vibe-coded quality-of-life addon to make Suspicious Stew a little easier to follow. While it has been tested in-game, bugs and edge cases are possible.
Currently, the addon only supports Suspicious Stew on The Coiled Isle. I plan to expand it to support other similar cooking/ingredient-selection quests and activities where the game asks you to react to NPC callouts.
Bug reports and suggestions for other activities that would fit the addon are welcome.
