Changelog

0.1.1 - Low-Level Range Probe Fix

  • Refreshed the options UI and TURN sound selector with flat dark panels, thin pixel borders, consistent amber accents, styled buttons, row striping, and visible color swatches.
  • Documented the fresh-install defaults: enabled visual range display, enabled IN / OUT text, enabled TURN warning, enabled swing timer, enabled live facing, quiet TURN sound, and below-nameplate positioning.
  • Avoid using Attack as a spell range probe because it can report in range from far outside melee distance on low-level characters.
  • Avoid using queued next-swing abilities such as Heroic Strike, Cleave, Maul, and Raptor Strike as range probes because they can report queue availability instead of melee distance.
  • Added Warrior, Rogue, Druid, Hunter, Paladin, and Shaman instant melee abilities to the secondary range-check probe list.
  • Added a brief swing-feedback fallback for characters without a reliable melee spell range probe: actual swing results infer IN, and out-of-range attack errors infer OUT.
  • Added /tmr rangeprobe to print the active range source while troubleshooting.
  • Refresh the cached range-check probe when the spellbook changes, allowing newly trained abilities to be picked up without a reload.
