This addon, named "TomTom Onyx Eggs," is designed to assist World of Warcraft players in locating and farming Onyx Eggs in the Jade Forest zone (from the Mists of Pandaria expansion). It integrates with the TomTom addon to create and manage waypoints for known egg spawn locations, helping you navigate efficiently. Key features include:
- Waypoint Management: Automatically adds waypoints for 30 predefined Onyx Egg locations when you're in Jade Forest. Waypoints are sorted by proximity to your current position or an optimized "learned" route based on your previous farming patterns.
- Loot Detection and Respawn: Detects when you loot an Onyx Egg (via chat messages) and can auto-add new waypoints if the location isn't already known. It tracks looted eggs, increments a counter, and respawns waypoints after a configurable threshold (e.g., 25 eggs) or timer, clearing old waypoints and adding the next closest one.
- Configuration Options: A customizable UI panel (accessible via /ttoe config or minimap icon) lets you enable/disable the addon, adjust timers and thresholds, add/edit/remove waypoints manually, and toggle debug messages.
- Minimap Icon: Provides a minimap button with an Onyx Egg icon for quick access—left-click opens the config, right-click respawns waypoints.
- Learned Route Optimization: After farming a full cycle, it learns an efficient route using nearest-neighbor logic for future sessions.
- Slash Commands: Supports commands like /ttoe respawn, clear, check, reset, and config for manual control.
