TomoMod 4.1.0
4.1.0 is a major interface and quality-of-life update. Loot Browser gains new filters and item interactions, Settings navigation has been reorganized around direct Studio access, search now reaches Studio controls, Damage Benchmark uses Blizzard's native DPS values, and several UI systems receive important usability and compatibility improvements.
Bags — Coin Display
[FIXED] The bag footer now correctly displays Gold, Silver and Copper with their coin icons instead of occasionally showing an unformatted copper value.
[CHANGED] Coin formatting now adapts more safely across supported WoW clients.
Loot Browser — Equipment Filters
[FIXED] Devourer is now available in the Demon Hunter specialization selector alongside Havoc and Vengeance.
[NEW] Added a persistent equipment-slot filter for dungeon, raid and favorite loot.
[NEW] Filters support armor and weapon categories including robes, two-handed weapons, ranged weapons, shields and off-hand items.
[NEW] Items currently equipped by your character now display a green check mark.
[CHANGED] Equipped-item indicators refresh automatically when your equipment changes.
Loot Browser — Item Interactions
[NEW] Ctrl-click an item to open it in the Dressing Room.
[NEW] Shift-click inserts the full item link into an active chat box.
[CHANGED] Left- and right-click continue to toggle items as Favorites.
[CHANGED] Item interaction instructions and equipped-item hints are now localized across all six supported languages.
Loot Browser — Kith'ix & Difficulty Scaling
[NEW] Added the Kith'ix loot table with 12 items across Raid Finder, Normal and Heroic difficulties, plus an additional Mythic-only collectible.
[NEW] Class and specialization loot eligibility is included for Kith'ix drops.
[FIXED] Raid difficulty scaling now uses the correct Season 17 upgrade values.
[CHANGED] Equipment tooltips now better reflect the currently selected raid difficulty and upgrade level.
[NEW] Dungeon loot now includes a persistent M0 and M+2 through M+10 difficulty selector.
[NEW] Mythic+ difficulty buttons show the corresponding end-of-dungeon reward item level.
[CHANGED] Changing the selected Mythic+ level immediately refreshes the displayed dungeon loot.
Character & Inspect Frames — Gem Compatibility
[FIXED] Character and Inspect Frames now handle gem information correctly on clients where older item APIs are unavailable.
[FIXED] Missing or uncached gem information no longer prevents CharacterSkin from loading correctly.
Minimap — Tracking Menu
[CHANGED] The custom Minimap tracking menu has been redesigned into a cleaner two-column layout.
[CHANGED] Tracking rows now feature individual borders, a darker background, larger icons and cyan indicators for active filters.
[CHANGED] Long tracking names can wrap, while large filter lists remain scrollable.
[FIXED] Duplicate tracking labels continue to behave as a single option while controlling all matching Blizzard filters.
Minimap — Coordinate Display
[FIXED] Blizzard's native Minimap coordinates are now hidden while the TomoMod InfoPanel is active.
[FIXED] This prevents Blizzard coordinates from overlapping TomoMod's clock and coordinate display.
Damage Benchmark — Native DPS Capture
[CHANGED] Damage Benchmark now captures Blizzard's native average DPS instead of calculating DPS from total damage.
[CHANGED] The 30, 60 and 120-second tests now freeze the closest available native DPS update at the selected duration.
[CHANGED] If no fresh DPS update arrives immediately, the latest valid sample is used instead of displaying a false zero.
[FIXED] Resetting the Damage Meter now cancels an active Benchmark test.
[FIXED] Leaving combat before the selected duration also cancels the test instead of saving an incomplete result.
Damage Benchmark — Protected Results
[NEW] Benchmark attempts can now remain visible even when WoW protects the numeric DPS value.
[CHANGED] Protected attempts preserve character, specialization, item level, duration and date without permanently storing the protected DPS number.
[CHANGED] After a reload, protected results display a localized Protected label.
[CHANGED] Up to five recent protected attempts can appear alongside ranked numeric Benchmark results.
[CHANGED] Benchmark tables now focus on DPS, duration and character information; total damage is no longer displayed.
Options Window — Screen Fit & Readability
[FIXED] The Options window now automatically stays within the available screen area at its current UI scale.
[FIXED] The footer and resize handle should remain accessible even with smaller resolutions or larger UI scales.
[CHANGED] Duplicate page headers have been removed, freeing significantly more vertical space for actual settings.
[CHANGED] Secondary text, placeholders, footer hints and search results now use stronger contrast and improved sizing.
Home Dashboard
[CHANGED] The Studios hub now appears directly below the Home summary for faster access.
[CHANGED] Home quick actions now focus on Installer and Reload, while Profiles and Diagnostics remain available from the sidebar.
[CHANGED] The resolution preset remains before role configuration, while the TomoSuite card has moved to the bottom of Home.
Reset Controls — Safer Configuration
[CHANGED] Full reset controls have been consolidated under Profiles > Resets alongside recovery backups.
[NEW] Module reset actions now use red warning buttons and require confirmation before settings are erased.
[NEW] Reset confirmations explain how the automatic backup can be restored if needed.
Automation & QOL Labels
[CHANGED] Automatic invite acceptance, role-check confirmation, summon acceptance and DELETE entry now use clearer action labels.
[NEW] Option rows and controls can now provide additional hover explanations without adding permanent text to the page.
[FIXED] Removed obsolete BagSkin and World Quest mover entries that could duplicate or point to retired configuration systems.
Sidebar Navigation — Direct Studio Access
[NEW] Added a dedicated Studios block directly inside the Options sidebar.
[NEW] You can now launch Astral Forge, Party & Raid Studio, Resource & Cast Studio, Cooldown Studio and Mythic+ Studio directly from the sidebar.
[CHANGED] Interface and Comfort categories now expand directly in the sidebar while keeping all major navigation entries visible.
[CHANGED] Pages containing several configuration areas now use tabs above their content.
[CHANGED] Sidebar scroll position is preserved while navigating between pages.
[FIXED] Removed or unknown configuration links now return to Home instead of displaying an empty page.
Retired Settings Pages
[CHANGED] Older standalone settings pages for Unit Frames, Nameplates, Castbars, Party Frames, Raid Frames, Cooldown Forge and Mythic+ have been removed.
[CHANGED] Their active settings now live in the appropriate dedicated Studio instead of being duplicated across several configuration pages.
Astral Forge — Nameplate Controls
[NEW] Added Nameplate Raid Marker Size directly to Astral Forge, configurable from 10 to 60.
[NEW] Interruptible and uninterruptible Nameplate Castbar colours can now be edited directly from Astral Forge.
Settings Search — Studio Integration
[NEW] Settings Search can now find controls inside Astral Forge, Party & Raid Studio and Resource & Cast Studio.
[NEW] Selecting a Studio search result opens the correct Studio, subject, section and setting automatically.
[NEW] Matching controls are automatically highlighted after navigation.
[NEW] Option-group names such as Auto Summon are searchable.
[CHANGED] Search supports English setting names even while playing with another supported language.
[FIXED] Studio search results now retain the correct navigation target instead of occasionally opening the wrong options category.
Client-Aware Navigation
[FIXED] Options pages that are unavailable on the current WoW client are now automatically hidden.
[FIXED] This includes unavailable Action Bar settings on WoW: Forever.
[CHANGED] Empty navigation groups disappear automatically, and unavailable saved pages fall back to an accessible configuration page.
Roles — Direct Configuration Links
[CHANGED] Role recommendations now open the exact related setting inside Astral Forge, Party & Raid Studio or Resource & Cast Studio.
[CHANGED] The relevant setting is highlighted automatically after opening the Studio.
[CHANGED] Legacy role-filter buttons have been removed while the Roles guides and recommendations remain available.
Localization & Clearer Controls
[NEW] Added consistent localized anchor-point labels for Action Bars and Chat controls.
[CHANGED] Additional Action Bar, audio, recovery, module reset, dashboard and CVar labels are now localized across all six supported languages.
[FIXED] English Bloodlust Sound settings no longer contain French labels.
[CHANGED] Slider tooltips now more clearly distinguish between resetting to the default value and restoring the value that existed when the page was opened.
Studio Feedback
[CHANGED] Studio launch errors and recovery instructions are now localized across all six supported languages.
[CHANGED] Messages now provide clearer guidance for missing addons, disabled modules, dependency problems, outdated versions and required reloads.
[FIXED] Astral Forge, Party & Raid Studio and Resource & Cast Studio no longer display incorrect role badges on decorative section headers.
