TomoMod 3.6.1
Action Bars — Assisted Combat
- Fixed — Blizzard's Assisted Combat rotation highlight no longer freezes or fails to appear on TomoMod action buttons. It now reads the button's real action slot, so it tracks the rotation correctly on every bar.
Action Bars — Input Responsiveness
- Fixed — The first key press after login is no longer silently swallowed. TomoMod's "Cast on key press" setting is now kept in sync with the game's own press/release option before any binding is built, so the two can no longer disagree.
Action Bars — Combat Safety
- Changed — Removed an internal shortcut that skipped combat safety checks while loading. It was meant to help with a
/reloadtaken mid-combat, which is precisely the case where those checks matter most. - Fixed — Override bar bindings (vehicles, special encounter bars) deferred because of combat now reliably reapply the moment you leave combat.
Action Bars — Frame Layering
- Fixed — Bar 1, the pet bar and the stance bar no longer draw on top of full-screen panels such as the World Map. They stay above the native bars as intended, without floating over the rest of the interface.
Action Bars — Spell Flyouts
- Fixed — Spell flyouts (Mage Portal/Teleport, Hunter traps, and similar) no longer open and then silently refuse to cast. All eight standard action bars now use TomoMod's own flyout rather than the game's popup, which was the source of the failure. Pet and stance bars are unchanged and keep the native one.
- Fixed — A flyout button on Bar 1 could open the previous page's flyout after the bar swapped pages in combat. It now reads whatever is actually in the slot at the moment you click it.
- Fixed — Flyouts now open on a keybind press, not only on a mouse click.
- Fixed — Flyout contents now show the correct known/unknown icons for every spell, including portals and traps that your current spec's spellbook does not list.
- Note — The popup buttons inside a flyout no longer carry TomoMod's skin. That is the trade for a cast that always works; the flyout arrow on the parent button is unaffected.
Action Bars — Leave Vehicle
- New — Leave Vehicle now has its own mover, shown alongside the Extra Action and Zone Ability movers. It can be dragged anywhere on screen instead of being locked above Bar 1, and its position is saved with your other frame positions. Until you move it, it stays where it was before.
- Changed — The button now appears based on whether the vehicle can actually be left, rather than on whether a vehicle interface happens to be on screen.
- Fixed — Blizzard's own Leave Vehicle button is now hidden only when TomoMod's replacement is genuinely usable. It previously could be hidden in states where the replacement did not work — taxi flights in particular — leaving no way to get out.
- Note — The mover cannot be repositioned during combat; a pending move applies as soon as you leave combat.
Micro Menu
- Changed — TomoMod's replacement micro bar has been removed. The Micro Menu is now entirely Blizzard's, and TomoMod only fades it in on mouseover — no reparenting, no reskin, no repositioning. On Midnight the Micro Menu is an Edit Mode system, and every attempt to own it produced errors somewhere else in the game's own layout pass.
- Fixed — As a result, the Game Menu button is back where it belongs. The replacement bar had dropped it when Midnight added the Housing button, and put Blizzard's help browser button in its place — a red "?" that looked like the button players were reaching for and did something else entirely.
- Fixed — The character portrait on the Micro Menu is live again, updating after a barber visit, a level-up or a zone-in instead of showing a stale face.
- Fixed — The Group Finder eye no longer vanishes when the Micro Menu fades out on mouse-leave. It is now controlled independently of the menu's fade.
- New — The eye gets a dedicated ON/OFF toggle and size slider in the Bag & Micro Menu tab, and now refreshes on zoning, queue pops and battleground status changes rather than being set once at login.
- Note — The Micro Bar options (button order, orientation, icon size, spacing, colors, glow, keybind text, position) are gone with the module. Micro Menu placement and visibility are handled through Blizzard's Edit Mode. The fade-on-mouseover option remains, listed as "Blizzard Micro Menu (mouseover)" in the Fade tab.
Objective Tracker
- Fixed — Quest blocks that have to wait for combat to end are no longer left half laid out until some unrelated quest event happens to fire. Pending blocks are now faded out while they wait and repositioned automatically the moment combat drops, instead of visibly overlapping.
Minimap — Tracking Panel
- Fixed — The Tracking panel no longer lists Banker twice. The game returns several tracking filters under the same name, so identical rows appeared with nothing to tell them apart. They are now merged into a single row: it shows as enabled as soon as any of them is active, and one click toggles them all together.
Minimap — Addon Button Collector
- Fixed — The collector no longer loses the buttons it has already gathered. Buttons collected later were stacked on top of the first row instead of starting a new one, and the panel resized itself around only that last batch. Collected buttons are now kept and new ones appended, so the grid wraps onto as many rows as the column count needs.
- Fixed — Buttons that an addon has taken back are detected and become collectable again.
- Changed — Opening the collector now always rescans, so buttons registered since the last scan show up immediately.
