3.3.3 — Defensive Cooldowns on Party Frames, Summon Icon Fix & Richer Diagnostics Reports
Party & Raid Frames — Defensive Cooldowns, With Categories
- New — Party frames now show defensive cooldowns active on each member. This previously existed on raid frames only, as a single icon with no duration and no indication of what kind of cooldown it was.
- New — Defensives are split into three categories, each with its own toggle on both panels: External (cast on this player by someone else — Ironbark, Pain Suppression…), Raid-wide (one cast landing on the whole group — Rallying Cry, Anti-Magic Zone…) and Personal (the player's own button — Divine Shield, Ice Block…). Fifty spells in total.
- Changed — Externals are on by default, the other two off — a raid-wide cooldown lights up every frame at once (exactly when a healer can least read them) and personals are constant, whereas externals answer the question the display exists for: does this target already have something on it. Externals always sort first, icons show remaining time, and the border is colored by category (gold external, cyan raid-wide, red personal). Up to four per frame, at a configurable size.
- Fixed — On raid frames, the defensive icon size slider only took effect after a reload; it now applies live.
Group Frames — The Summon Icon Was Staying Up Until /reload
- Fixed — Accepting or declining a summon left the summon icon stuck on the frame for the rest of the session, until a reload. It's now cleared correctly as soon as the summon is resolved.
- Fixed — A roster change could leave the previous player's summon icon on a frame that now belonged to someone else; every frame is now refreshed on roster changes and zoning.
Party & Raid Frames — HoT List Realigned
- Fixed — The party frames and raid frames each carried their own copy of the healer HoT list and had drifted apart, so the same HoT on the same player could show on one set of frames but not the other (Blessing of Summer, Cloudburst Totem, Enveloping Breath were missing from one side). There's a single unified list now — 35 spells across Priest, Druid, Paladin, Shaman, Monk and Evoker.
Party & Raid Frames — Dispel Border Thickness
- New — The dispel highlight border thickness is now a slider (1–6) on both panels; the default of 2 matches what shipped before.
- Changed — The border now grows outwards from the frame edge instead of inwards, so a thicker one never eats into the health bar, and it applies live.
Action Bars — The Stance Bar Was Showing Ten Empty Squares
- Fixed — With "show empty button slots" off, the stance bar could still put all ten of its buttons on screen (until the next stance change), because the pass that reveals empty slots while dragging a spell was wrongly running over the stance and pet bars, whose buttons aren't action slots. Both bars are now correctly excluded, so empty stance squares no longer appear.
Diagnostics — Richer Reports
- New — Reports now include a Display block: resolution, display mode, render scale, UIParent scale and effective scale, the uiScale CVar and the pixel-perfect scale for that resolution. High-resolution setups often rescale UIParent (the client won't take uiScale below 0.64 above 1200px vertical), which is a common source of positioning issues — so a report now shows exactly what scale it was written at.
- New — A scale or resolution change during the session is logged as its own entry with before/after values, so a rescale appears right next to any errors it may have caused. Reports also flag a UIParent scale that doesn't match the CVar (something set it directly).
- New — A Performance block: current framerate, session min / average / max, and home/world latency. Every captured error also records the framerate at the moment it fired — an error that only shows up on a stuttering client is usually a timing race, not a logic bug.
- Fixed — The "UIParent scale doesn't match the CVar" warning previously fired on almost every normal setup; it now derives what the scale should be for your configuration and flags only a genuine divergence.
- Fixed — The client's own rescale during login was being logged as a mid-session change; display capture now waits a few seconds and takes a single settled reading.
- Fixed — The loaded-addon list could show a doubled "v" prefix (e.g. "vv1.2.3") for addons whose version already starts with a "v", and could error on an addon with no version at all.
