Full Changelog

3.1.9 — Movable-Frame Position Fixes, Action Bar Drag Fix, Native Bar Suppression & Diagnostics Fix

Action Bars — Dropping Spells on Hidden Empty Slots

  • Fixed — With "Show empty button slots" disabled, it was impossible to drag a spell or item onto an empty slot (unless the Spellbook or Talents window happened to be open). Empty slots are now temporarily revealed whenever you pick something up and hidden again once you're done, so you can always drop onto them while they stay fully hidden at rest.

Objective Tracker

  • Fixed — Dragging the Objective Tracker via its mover could stop sticking: Blizzard's Edit Mode or other UI actions (e.g. opening the Quest Journal) could silently override the saved position. The tracker now re-applies its saved position immediately whenever anything else moves it.
  • Fixed — The "Max quests shown" slider had no effect in the default Categories (bucketed) layout. It now applies in every layout.

Minimap

  • Fixed — The minimap could drift to a different spot after a /reload. The root cause was a double-scaling of the saved position; coordinates now round-trip correctly at any minimap scale, with an extra safety net that re-applies the saved position shortly after login.
  • Fixed — Disabling the button collector and reloading previously still hid every other addon's minimap button, with nothing to restore them. It now leaves other buttons alone as soon as the collector is disabled or set to Blizzard (native) style.
  • Fixed — TomoMod's tracking button now re-shows itself immediately if another addon or Blizzard code silently hides it.
  • Fixed — Blizzard's native tracking button could stay permanently unclickable after being revealed (by switching the tracking style to Blizzard or disabling TomoMod's custom button); it's now guaranteed clickable whenever it's shown.

Reputation Bar

  • Fixed — The default Blizzard reputation/honor/artifact bar could still show through even with "Hide Blizzard reputation bar" enabled, because some of its sub-bars ignored the container's transparency. It's now fully suppressed, and stays hidden as Blizzard recreates those bars.

Tooltip

  • Changed — Default tooltip background opacity raised from 92% to 97% for better readability out of the box. The Background opacity slider (Skins → Tooltip) still allows full customization.
  • Fixed — The draggable "Custom" position anchor no longer stays visible on screen during normal play; it now behaves like every other movable element.
  • New — The tooltip anchor is now part of the unified Layout Mode, and a dedicated "Show/Hide anchor" button was added in Skins → Tooltip for quick access.

Diagnostics

  • Fixed — Clicking "Copy Report" appeared to do nothing: the export popup was opening behind the still-open console. It now always opens on top.

3.1.8 — Bag Skin Category Rework

Bags — Category Matching & Order

  • Fixed — Category matching in the Categories layout is now language-independent, so items are always sorted into the right category regardless of your client's language.
  • Changed — Default category order updated: Quest Items now appears right after Equipment, ahead of Consumables and Trade Goods.
  • Note — Groundwork was added for an upcoming panel to hide and reorder bag categories. There's no setting for it yet; Miscellaneous and Free Slots are always kept and always sorted last, so an item can never disappear from your bags.
