3.0.7 — Objective Tracker Fixes & ResourceBars Improvements
Quality of Life — Objective Tracker
- Fixed — World Quest blocks are now correctly collected and sorted into the World Quests bucket. Previously they stayed at their original Blizzard position and visually displaced the whole tracker.
- Fixed — The now-empty World Quest container is hidden after each layout pass so it no longer overlaps the skin.
- Fixed — Progress bars (enemy forces, weekly %, etc.) attached to the module frame rather than to individual quest blocks are now hidden when their bucket is collapsed, and restored when the bucket is re-enabled.
Resource Bars — Guardian Druid
- New — Guardian Druid Rage is now shown as the centered primary resource by default, with Mana kept as the secondary bar below. The unit frame power bar is suppressed automatically whenever a primary power bar is active.
Resource Bars — Height Sliders
- Fixed — The class power height and druid mana height sliders had no effect after the first load. The resource bars are now rebuilt correctly on reload, so the sliders take effect every time.
- New — Added a primary power bar height slider (CD & Resources → Resource Bars → Dimensions) controlling the height of the centered rage/mana/energy bar.
Unit Frames — Player Power Bar
- New — New "Show primary resource centered" checkbox in UnitFrames → Player → Dimensions. When enabled, the unit frame power bar is hidden and the resource is displayed in the centered Resource Bars container instead — the same option as in CD & Resources, now reachable without leaving the UnitFrames panel.
3.0.6 — Extra Action Button, Compass & BagSkin Slot Factory
Action Bars — Extra Action Button
- New — The Extra Action Button (the special button that appears for certain quests, items and boss encounters) is now managed by the TomoMod action bar system.
- New — It can be repositioned in Layout Mode like any other bar, with a live preview while unlocked; its position is saved to your profile.
- New — The Zone Ability button (the current zone's special action) moves together with the extra button so the pair stays grouped.
- New — Configurable in Action Bars → Bar Management: enable/disable, scale (50–200%) and a reset-position button.
- Changed — Taint-safe by design: instead of reparenting the protected button, TomoMod relocates its Edit Mode container, so the button appears at your chosen spot even when it first shows up mid-combat. The anchor is re-asserted after leaving Edit Mode, and all repositioning is deferred out of combat.
- Note — Disabling the option releases the button back to Blizzard's default placement after a /reload (consistent with the rest of the action bar system).
Quality of Life — Compass (New Module)
- New — A new on-screen heading bar that scrolls through the cardinal directions (N / E / S / W) as the camera turns, with a center pointer marking the direction you are currently looking.
- New — Quest marker (amber): an azimuth marker points toward your super-tracked quest — the same objective as the Waypoint beam — with cross-zone redirects handled by Blizzard.
- New — Waypoint marker (teal): a second marker points toward your map waypoint when one is placed, so a tracked quest and a manual waypoint can be shown at the same time. Markers stick to the bar edge when their target is outside the visible field.
- New — Optional heading readout below the bar (16-point abbreviation, e.g.
245° SW). - New — Bearings use world coordinates for correct directions on non-square maps; distance is shown in yards/km, matching the Waypoint module.
- New — Configurable via GUI (Quality of Life → Compass): enable, bar width (240–520), height (18–44), scale (0.6–1.8), field of view (Narrow ±45° / Standard ±60° / Wide ±90°), and per-marker toggles (quest / waypoint / distance / heading).
- New — Draggable in Layout Mode with a live preview while unlocked; position saved to your profile. New slash commands
/tm compass(toggle) and/tm compass debug(print internal state). - Changed — 100% read-only: no protected functions are called, so the module cannot introduce taint. Updates run on a throttled OnUpdate (~33 fps) only while the bar is shown, and cardinal ticks reposition only when the heading actually changes.
- Fixed — Fixed a high-frequency Lua error caused by mishandling the return values of the world-position lookup.
Bags — BagSkin Slot Factory (Rewrite)
- Fixed — Template sub-frames (icon border, overlays, quest texture, junk icon, upgrade icon, glow animations, etc.) are now explicitly hidden, so Blizzard code that references them by name never encounters a nil frame.
- Fixed — The icon and cooldown frames are reused from the template instead of creating duplicate textures on top, keeping the frame hierarchy clean.
- Fixed — Slot buttons are no longer created during combat lockdown. If the bag is opened in combat when new slots are needed, layout is deferred and replayed automatically when combat ends.
- Fixed — Tooltips now read the bag and slot live from the button's parent and ID instead of a stored field that could be stale after pool recycling.
Localization
- New — Added Compass strings (including localized cardinal letters: FR/ES/IT N·E·S·O, DE N·O·S·W, PT N·L·S·O) across all 6 locales (enUS / frFR / deDE / esES / itIT / ptBR), with equal key counts per language.
- New — Added Extra Action Button strings across all 6 locales.
- New — Added the Compass fix and BagSkin What's New strings across all 6 locales.
