TokenPanda 1.5.0 Beta

TokenPandaTray 1.5.0+ is now required

TokenPanda 1.5.0 completes the transition to the modern TokenPanda data architecture.

The legacy root HistoricalData.lua fallback path has been removed.

TokenPanda now relies exclusively on:

Data/<Flavor>/<Region>/HistoricalData.lua

Data/<Flavor>/<Region>/RealmData.lua

Please update TokenPandaTray to 1.5.0 Beta or newer before using TokenPanda 1.5.0.

TokenPandaTray version awareness

TokenPanda can now identify the TokenPandaTray version that produced the current data.

If the detected Tray version is missing, legacy, or below the required version, TokenPanda displays a red [!] warning beside the active Flavor + Region selector.

Selecting the warning opens the TokenPandaTray Update Required notice.

Required data validation

TokenPanda now validates both required data components for the current Flavor + Region tuple:

• Historical Data
• Realm Data

Missing, empty, invalid, or unavailable required data can trigger the TokenPandaTray update/data warning.

Improved data protection

TokenPandaTray 1.5.0 significantly improves protection and emergency recovery of TokenPanda data.

HistoricalData and RealmData are treated as protected data and can be restored when missing, empty, invalid, or unusable.

Critical recovery remains available independently from the normal Smart mode synchronization pause.

Matchbox 2.0 improvements

When viewing a tuple different from the currently running WoW client, TokenPanda no longer extends stale data forward as an artificial flat line.

The graph now stops at the timestamp of the last available sample.

A [ Refresh ] action is available for non-current tuples.

For fresh external-tuple data, first force a data update in TokenPandaTray, then refresh the addon UI.

Extreme WoW Token price support

TokenPanda now correctly supports WoW Token prices above one million gold.

HistoricalData prices are interpreted as complete gold values and are no longer incorrectly processed using the Blizzard live-price copper conversion.

The real Token price is always displayed in full and is never abbreviated, truncated, or reinterpreted.

For very large values, only the graph Y-axis may use compact K labels to preserve readability.

This affects only the visual scale. The actual Token price, historical values, hover tooltips, Purchase History, and variation remain complete and precise.

TokenPandaTray UI improvements

TokenPandaTray now displays its current version directly at the top of the tray menu.

The synchronization tooltip was also redesigned to show updated record counts by:

• Classic / Retail
• US / EU / TW / KR
• total updated records
• last update time

The complete account-wide WoW Token Purchase History remains available, including:

• automatic purchase capture
• manual Add / Edit / Delete
• Journalator CSV import
• Realm-aware records
• purchase metadata
• optional chart markers
