🛡️ Forever ThreatMeter

Keep track of your threat, spot aggro risks, and see when another tank has control.

Forever ThreatMeter is a standalone addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. It combines a compact threat window with customizable nameplate indicators and tank-aware warnings—all styled to fit the native Forever interface.

⚔️ Clear threat tracking

The threat window shows your party or raid’s threat on the current enemy, with:

• Class-colored bars and readable player names.
• Absolute threat values such as 7.4k or 10k.
• A separate percentage column.
• Your own row kept visible when the list is limited.
• Automatic height, manual resizing, and saved positioning.

The live threat window and combat alerts activate inside dungeons and raids.

🎯 Threat on nameplates

Check your threat directly beside enemy health bars—even while playing solo or exploring the open world.

Choose between:

• Percentage: your threat percentage, or your lead over the strongest competitor when tanking and comparison data is available.
• Threat value: the absolute amount reported by the game’s threat API.

Place the indicator left or right of the nameplate and customize its font size and offsets.

When the client reports no threat, the display shows 0%. Confirmed solo aggro can show 100%. Missing or restricted data is shown as —, rather than an estimated number.

🐻 Tank-aware warnings

In Automatic mode, the addon recognizes an assigned Tank role, Bear Form, Dire Bear Form, and Defensive Stance.

Tanks do not receive the unnecessary “You have aggro!” warning. Aggro-loss warnings remain available, and you can manually select your role in settings.

An optional shield marker with blue text indicates when another group member with an assigned Tank role holds the enemy’s aggro.

🚨 Customizable alerts

Receive clear warnings as your threat rises:

• 🟡 Rising threat
• 🟠 Aggro imminent
• 🔴 You have aggro

Sound and screen warnings can be enabled separately. Adjust warning thresholds, screen-message size, and position to suit your interface.

Built-in previews let you test the meter and warning states without entering combat.

🌍 16 languages

Includes flag-based language selection with immediate updates and saved preferences:

German, English, French, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Portuguese, Turkish, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Dutch, and Czech.

⚙️ Easy access

Use the minimap button to toggle the meter or open settings. Its positioning supports minimap scaling and button collectors.

/ftm lock     — Lock or unlock dragging

📦 Installation

Install through CurseForge or extract the ForeverThreatMeter folder into your client’s Interface/AddOns directory.

Restart the game after the first installation. After updating, use /reload.

🔎 Compatibility and notes

Designed for WoW Forever Beta 1.60.1, Interface 16001. No additional addon dependencies are required.

Threat information comes from the native game API. Tank lead represents the difference from the highest competing threat value as a percentage of your own threat; it is not a prediction of the exact aggro-transfer threshold.

Other-tank recognition depends on assigned group roles. Fixates, special encounter mechanics, and unassigned roles may affect interpretation.
