Threat Beacon 0.2.4
What's new
Threat Beacon 0.2.4
Tank threat warnings
- Yellow now warns as your threat lead narrows, before you lose aggro.
- If another unit has more raw threat but you are still tanking, the shield stays yellow. Red is reserved for actual aggro loss.
- Green means the client reports no lead warning. Green shields remain hidden by default.
- Unavailable lead information is never treated as a safe lead.
Names and diagnostics
- Compact displays now draw consistent enemy names while enemies are idle. Selecting an enemy does not switch to another name style.
- Shields-only mode hides names after readable threat information confirms engagement with you or your group. Idle and unconfirmed enemies keep their names, within normal nameplate range.
- Added Live status to the menu, with combat, display, engagement and threat-source information.
- Copy status opens a selected report you can copy with Ctrl+C.
Preserved settings
DPS threat meanings and personal alerts are unchanged. Horde/Alliance artwork, independent icon sizes, display choices and saved preferences are preserved.
Validation and compatibility
Local source review, Lua parsing, packaging and installation checks passed. The new Tank lead behavior and name transitions still require in-game validation. Classic support remains experimental and has not been tested in game.
