TheBag
TheBag is a lightweight quality-of-life addon that improves Blizzard's native Combined Backpack without replacing it.
It keeps Blizzard's original bag interface, artwork, item slots, search, and controls while making the window faster and easier to position and resize.
Why TheBag
- Move the Combined Backpack directly by dragging its title bar
- Reposition it without opening Edit Mode
- Resize the entire bag with Ctrl + Mouse Wheel
- Adjust the size from 50% to 200% in 5% steps
- Save both position and scale between sessions
- Quickly restore the default layout with
/thebag reset - Keep Blizzard's native inventory appearance and behavior
- No custom categories, themes, inventory database, minimap button, or external libraries
- When Blizzard's Combine Bags option is disabled, TheBag leaves the individual Blizzard bags untouched
Controls
- Drag the title area to move TheBag
- Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Up to increase the size
- Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Down to decrease the size
/thebag resetresets the saved position and scale/thebag statusshows basic diagnostic information
Compatibility
When BlizzMove is installed, TheBag takes session-only control of the Combined Backpack and Reagent Bag to prevent the two addons from competing over their position or scale.
BlizzMove continues to manage all other supported frames normally.

- World of Warcraft Retail
- World of Warcraft Forever support is planned and will be added once Blizzard resolves the current beta SavedVariables persistence issue affecting addon settings.
