AutoDexT

AutoDexT is a lightweight Guild Bank sorting and organization addon for World of Warcraft Retail. It is designed to make large Guild Banks easier to maintain without replacing the entire Blizzard interface or running unnecessary background processes.

Sorting Modes

• Keep Items in Tabs — Sort each selected tab independently without moving items between tabs.
• Fill Tabs in Order — Organize selected tabs as one continuous storage area.
• Assign Item Types — Assign item categories to individual Guild Bank tabs and automatically move matching items where they belong.

Sort the current tab, selected tabs, or all usable Guild Bank tabs.

Organization Options

• Smart Sort — Expansion → Item Type → Quality → Name → ID.
• Sort by Expansion
• Sort by Item Type
• Newest First or Oldest First
• Merge Stacks or Keep Separate

Each sorting mode remembers its own organization, expansion order, stack handling, and applicable tab selections.

Per-Tab Item Assignments

Assign broad or specific item types to individual Guild Bank tabs. Category indicators show whether a category contains full or partial assignments, and the Category menu can remain open while switching tabs for quick comparison.

Assignments are stored per Guild Bank and include safeguards for cases where WoW reports guild identity differently between sessions.

Safety & Reliability

AutoDexT verifies Guild Bank state while sorting and checks the completed arrangement against the calculated target.

• Safe Stop can interrupt an active sort without leaving the cursor or bank in an unsafe state.
• Unexpected bank-state changes are resynchronized before sorting continues.
• Saved assignment and preference migrations include additional safeguards to protect existing SavedVariables during updates.
• Lightweight diagnostics help identify transaction stalls, migration health, and Guild Bank loading issues when troubleshooting is needed.

Performance

AutoDexT is designed to remain lightweight and event-driven.

• No continuous inventory scanning.
• No permanent polling loops.
• Redundant Guild Bank UI refreshes are consolidated.
• Unnecessary planner operations can be discarded before execution when they are confirmed to have no effect.

Interface

AutoDexT integrates its controls directly into the Guild Bank window and includes:
