TextBox Addon - Comprehensive Changelog (v5.3 to v9.1)

🎨 UI & Configuration Window Redesign

Dark mode Theme: Completely overhauled the /tb configuration window to a modern, flat "Dark Mode" aesthetic. Removed default Blizzard parchment backgrounds and thick borders.

Class Colors: The addon now automatically detects your current class and uses your class color for UI borders, headers, and button hover effects.

Dynamic Auto-Sizing: The configuration window now calculates its own height dynamically based on the content, permanently fixing issues with overlapping UI elements at the bottom.

Scrollable Bar List: Implemented a proper, working scroll frame for "Your Bars," allowing you to manage any number of bars without UI breakage.

Cleaned Up Options: Removed redundant inputs (Size, Height, Min Width) and the obsolete Profile system (replaced by the Global toggle) to save space and reduce clutter.

Precision Scaling: Replaced mouse-wheel resizing with a wide (160px) Scale Slider in the list. The slider is fine-tuned (max 2.0, steps of 0.01) and includes a manual text input box so you can type exact scale values (e.g., 1.15).

⚙️ Core Engine & Bar Features

Always on Top: Both the configuration window and the active bars are now set to the FULLSCREEN_DIALOG strata, ensuring they always sit on top of other UI elements in the game.

Full Edit Mode: Added a golden "Edit" button next to the red delete "X" for each bar. Clicking this loads the bar's exact settings back into the menu. You can add/remove modules, change fonts, or adjust opacity, and click "Save Changes" to update the bar in-place without losing its screen position.

Global Bars: Added a "Global Bar" checkbox. Checking this makes the bar visible across all characters on your account, rather than just the current character.

Selection Order Memory: Bars now generate their modules in the exact order you check the boxes in the menu, giving you full control over the layout.

Mouseover Mode: Added a "Start as Mouseover" option. Bars with this enabled will remain invisible (Alpha 0) until you hover your mouse over them.

Hitbox Fix: Rewrote the mouseover logic so the bar only hides its background and text, keeping the invisible "hitbox" active so the game always detects your mouse.

📦 Module Additions & Updates

Professions: Added specific modules for Primary Prof 1, Primary Prof 2, Cooking, and Fishing.

• • These dynamically display the actual name of your profession (e.g., "Alchemy").

  • Clicking them now directly opens that specific profession's crafting window instead of just the general spellbook.

Advanced Item Level: Upgraded the "Ilvl" module to show both your Equipped and Maximum/Overall item level, formatted with two decimals just like the character screen (e.g., 290.62 / 291.00).

Utility Mounts: Added dedicated click-modules to summon the AH Mount (dynamically checks for and summons either the Trader's Gilded Brutosaur or Mighty Caravan Brutosaur) and the Transmog Mount (Grand Expedition Yak).

Warband Bank: Added a Warband Bank module. Built using a SecureActionButton and macro text to successfully cast the "Warband Bank Distance Inhibitor" spell without restrictions.

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Removals

Combat Taint Fix: Completely removed combat-altering stat modules (Crit, Haste, Mastery, Versatility) to prevent LUA errors and UI lockups during combat.

Currency Clean-up: Removed all TWW-specific currency modules and Gold to streamline the addon.

Secure Button Clicks: Fixed a bug where SecureActionButtons (like the Warband Bank) didn't register clicks properly by updating the event handler to register AnyUp and AnyDown click events natively.

UI Click-Through Fix: Added strict clipping to the ScrollFrame and raised the FrameLevel of the bottom settings container, preventing invisible list items from blocking your mouse clicks on the "Create Bar" button.
