# TBCA Players Info Tooltips

Version 1.0.0

Clean player hover tooltips for TBC Anniversary.
Shows useful player info without GearScore, Pawn, or item-level clutter.

## What This Addon Includes

- Class-colored player names.
- Optional title display.
- Guild name and guild rank formatting.
- Target line (`Target: ...`) on unit tooltips.
- Talent/spec lines with active spec and off-spec (when available).
- Optional faction icon and optional PvP icon next to player name.
- Blizzard Interface Options AddOn panel entry.

## What This Addon Does NOT Include

- GearScore.
- Pawn score.
- Item level.
- Character frame gear text.
- Inspect frame gear text.
- Item tooltip gear metrics.

## Commands

- `/tbcatooltip` open addon options.
- `/tbcatip` open addon options.
- `/ptip` open addon options.
- `/tbcatooltip reset` reset addon settings.

## Compatibility

- Interface: `20505` (TBC Anniversary client branch).
- Uses embedded `LibClassicInspector` stack for talent/spec inspection.

## Goal

This addon is intentionally focused on player-information tooltips only, with no GearScore or item-level layers.
That choice is not only about memory/performance; it is also a design decision to avoid reinforcing the misconception that score or iLvl reflects a player's real in-game value.
GearScore and iLvl features will not be implemented now or in future versions.
If you have other ideas for improving player info tooltips, feedback is welcome.
