What's new

Changelog

v1.5.1 — 2026-08-31

Fixed: cast bars no longer vanish mid-fight

  • Enemy channel bars (Drain Life, Arcane Missiles, etc.) were being torn down the moment the channel started: . Channels now display for their full duration
  • Chain-casting mobs no longer lose their bar: the deferred hide from a finished cast could fire 0.2s later and hide the next cast's bar. The hide now checks a token and backs off if a new cast has started
  • The green (success) / red (interrupt) flash documented since v1.0.0 actually shows now
  • Units already mid-cast when their plate appears (walking up to a caster) now get a cast bar immediately instead of waiting for their next cast

Fixed: opening the options panel silently disabled auto-distance

Fixed: "key" skull mode was unusable

  • A skull placed with the keybind was cleared within a second by the next automatic update — the mode was being handled like "off". Manual mode is now fully manual: automation never places or clears the mark

Fixed: sliders and toggles now apply live

  • Max Debuff Icons and Debuff Icon Size did nothing until a /reload (icon frames are created once per plate and were never resized). Existing icons now resize and the row grows on demand when you move the sliders
  • Toggling Auto-show plates in combat only (or /bp toggle, or debug mode) now applies to plates already on screen. Previously a boss plate could keep invisible extras for an entire fight because the combat handlers early-return while the toggle is off
  • The options-panel Reset to Defaults now also resets the Threat Table position/visibility, matching /bp reset

Fixed: threat & marker details

  • The Threat Table's red highlight now marks the actual aggro holder instead of the top raw-threat row — with the 110%/130% pull rules a ranged DPS at 125% raw threat sorted first while the tank still had aggro
  • "Bob has aggro" tank-mode text no longer lingers on plates after leaving tank mode or the group
  • In "target" skull mode, targeting a friendly player no longer paints the local skull overlay on their plate
  • "healer" skull mode now detects channeled heals
  • Skull/X automation now reacts when another player moves or clears the marks
  • In "sticky" mode, a marked enemy's plate that leaves and re-enters view shows its local skull overlay again
  • Disabling Show Threat Indicator no longer also stops threat-event-driven skull/X automation

Hardening

  • The "REFLECT" state label now uses a valid thick-outline font flag
  • Group-unit cache and worldboss plate count are rebuilt on every loading screen, so a reload into a dungeon can't leave tank callouts dead or "auto" at-base mode wedged
  • Nameplate-removed cleanup now finds its record even if the client has already unmapped the unit token, preventing stale tokens on recycled plates
  • A corrupted saved Threat Table position falls back to the default anchor instead of erroring during load
  • Slash commands print a clear "failed to initialize, run /bp diag" message instead of erroring if ADDON_LOADED ever aborts
