TankWarningsClassic

Send chat warnings for critical tank cooldowns and/or failed ability attempts.

By default, warnings will be written either as a raid message or a party message, otherwise the addon will be inactive. Can be switched to raid warnings and saying or yelling instead (only works inside instances).

Please note that saying/yelling may only be used by AddOns when the player is inside an instance. If you are outside an instance and configured SAY/YELL:

• Messages will be sent to your RAID if you are in a RAID
• Messages will be sent to your PARTY if you are in a PARTY
• Messages will be displayed in your default chat window, visible only to yourself, if you are ungrouped

Use /tankwarnings or /twc to open the options panel.

Supported abilities

Warror and druid:

• Early combat (first 10 seconds) miss (block/parry/dodge/miss/resist) detection if you are in Defensive Stance/Bear Form/Dire Bear Form to inform others to watch their threat. Note: this will only activate when you're in a raid group.
• Specifies if taunts were resisted because the target is immune.

Warrior:

• Last Stand (+optional 3 second expiration warning)
• Shield Wall (+optional 3 second expiration warning)
• Challenging Shout
• Taunt resist
• Mocking Blow resist
• Gift of Life (from Lifegiving Gem, +optional 3 second expiration warning)

Druid:

• Challenging Roar
• Growl resist
• Frenzied Regeneration

Supported languages

Since the combat logs have no spell ID in classic, the ability names need to be known for specific languages. Therefore translations for the abilities are required for it to work.

New translations are welcome. Submit them using the localization page.
