Talents Background
Use a custom background image for your Talents user interface.
The background image dimensions should be around 1600 x 800 (width x height) for the best look.
In short, save a JPEG or TGA image to the Media folder of this AddOn with the file name "Background".
Make sure there's only one file named Background.
If the game is running do a /reload to load the new image.
Note: AddOn Update Managers may delete the custom image between updates of this AddOn.
Instructions
Part 1:3 - Find the World of Warcraft folder
1. Open the Battle.net Launcher.
2. Select the Retail version of the game.
3. Click the cogwheel icon on the Play/Update button.
4a. Choose "Show in Explorer" from the cogwheel menu (Windows).
4b. (Windows Explorer opens with the _retail_ folder selected.)
Part 2:3 - Find the Media folder
5a. Enter the folder: _retail_
5b. Enter the folder: Interface
5c. Enter the folder: AddOns
5d. Enter the folder: Talents_Background
5e. Enter the folder: Media
Part 3:3 - Change the background image
6. Copy the image to the Media folder with the file name "Background".
JPEG file example:
\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\Talents_Background\Media\Background.jpg
If the game is running do a /reload to load the new image.
Make sure there's only one file named Background.
Image Requirements
* The image must be saved in the JPEG or TGA file format.
* TGA pixel formats must be 32-bit RGBA or 24-bit RGB.
* TGA files can use RLE compression.
